SNAP 2021 Analysis: SNAP 19 Dec Paper Review, Expected Cut Off, Questions Asked, Good Attempts

SNAP 2021 Exam Analysis (19 December): Day 1 of the SNAP 2021 exam has been successfully conducted on 19th December 2021 by the Symbiosis International (Deemed) University [SIU] across 94 cities in India. As per the SNAP Analysis 2021 given by the BYJU'S Exam Experts, the overall difficulty level of the exam was Moderate. SNAP 2021 had quite a few surprises this year:

  • There was no Data Sufficiency question this year in the paper.
  • Critical Reasoning questions were doable.
  • There was no set of Data Interpretation, however only a question was asked.
  • In the Quantitative Aptitude section, 2-3 questions were incorrect.

SNAP is a national-level conducted for admission into any of the 15 Symbiosis institutes affiliated to SIU. SNAP 2021 will be conducted on 3 days, Day 1 was conducted today (19th December 2021), the remaining two will be conducted on 8th January 2022 and 16th January 2022 respectively.

The SNAP 2021 exam pattern was confirmed earlier in the notification released by SIU. There were a total of 60 questions spread across 3 sections. The exam duration was 60 minutes. The eligible candidates can write the SNAP 2021 exam twice.

  • SNAP 2021 is a Computer Based Test.
  • Due to the pandemic situation, SNAP 2021 will be conducted thrice this year.
  • A candidate can appear for SNAP twice. The better score of the two attempts will be considered for the admission process.
  • SNAP 2021 is being conducted for a duration of 1 hour.

Highlights of SNAP 2021 Day 1 (19 December)

  • Overall paper was Moderate in terms of Level of Difficulty​​
  • VA & LR was relatively easier than SNAP 2020.
  • QA was on the difficult side with no Data Sufficiency questions & 1 simple division question in DI​​

SNAP 2021 Exam Analysis: Difficulty Level

SNAP 2021 Paper Difficulty Level - Day 1 (19 Dec)

The overall difficulty level of the paper was Moderate. The VA & LR was relatively easier than last year's SNAP 2020. Questions from the General English section were found to be the easiest amongst all the sections.

This section had 15 questions in total. The overall difficulty level of this section was Easy. The level was easier when compared with SNAP 2020. The majority of the questions asked were from Fill in the Blanks. Question on Poem-based (Poem by Sarojini Naidu) RC was asked.

SNAP Analytical and Logical Reasoning Analysis 2021- Day 1(19 December)

The overall difficulty level of the Analytical and Logical Reasoning section was  Easy to Moderate. While AR was Easy to Moderate in terms of the level of difficulty, VR was on the easy side. SNAP Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency Analysis 2021- Day 1 (19 December)

This section consisted of a total of 20 questions. This section had a Moderate- Difficult level of difficulty.  There was no question on Data Sufficiency. 2-3 Questions asked were incorrect. There was 1 Simple Division Question in DI which was easy to solve. ​The Data Interpretation question was about 10 weightlifters participating in a weightlifting competition.
