SNAP is a national-level exam which is conducted for admission into any of the 15 Symbiosis institutes affiliated with SIU. This year the exam was conducted thrice. SNAP 2021 Slot 1 was conducted on 19th December 2021, Slot 2 was conducted on 8th January 2022, and Slot 3 on 16th January 2022. A candidate can appear twice for SNAP 2021 but the higher of the two scores will be considered for the final percentile calculation. The following article covers the detailed SNAP 2021 Analysis. - SNAP 2021 was a Computer-Based Test
- SNAP 2021 was conducted thrice- Once in Dec 2021 and Twice in January 2022
- Slot 3 was conducted on 16th January 2022 from 10 AM to 11 AM
- There were 3 sections in SNAP 2021- General English, Analytical & Logical Reasoning and Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency
- The test comprised a total of 60 questions.

- For every question, there were 4 options out of which one was the correct answer
- +1 marks are awarded for every correct answer
- For every incorrect answer, 0.25 marks are deducted
Highlights of SNAP 2021 Slot 3 (16 January 2022)
- The overall difficulty level of Slot 3 of SNAP 2021 was Moderate
- QA Section was comparatively easier than the previous 2 Slots of SNAP 2021
- Slot 3 paper of SNAP 2021 was similar to Slot 1 and Slot 2
- DI questions from the QA section were a bit challenging
- No question on Data Sufficiency was there on Slot 3 of SNAP 2021
SNAP 2021 (Slot 3) Exam Analysis: Difficulty Level
SNAP 2021 Paper Difficulty Level - Slot 3 (16 January 2022)
The overall difficulty level of Slot 3 of SNAP 2021 was Moderate. The exam pattern and the level of difficulty were similar to Slot 1 and Slot 2 of SNAP 2021. Questions from the QA section were found to be relatively easier than the previous two Slots. GE section was relatively difficult than the previous 2 slots. DI questions from the QA section were found to be a bit challenging.
SNAP 2021 Exam Analysis (Section-Wise)
SNAP General English Paper Analysis 2021- Slot 3 (16 January 2022)
The General English section had a total of 15 questions. The Slot 3 overall difficulty level of this section was Easy to Moderate. Slot 1 and Slot 2 of the General English were of Easy level of difficulty. Fill in the Blanks, Idioms, and Error Spotting dominated this section. Similar to the previous two slots, Slot 3 also had a question on Poems. It was interesting to note that the question was on the poem Daffodils which was earlier asked in Slot 2 of SNAP 2021. However, the question on the poem was changed and it was on Preposition.
It was seen that in Slot 3 the question on Parts of Speech was a bit tricky as it consisted of words of Old English. The question asked was "Napolean said while ..." Able was I ere I saw Elba".
It was interesting to note that the question on Voice was "Which of the following cannot be converted to passive voice"? thereby making the question a bit tricky.

The Idioms & Proverbs asked in Slot 3 were on the following:
- Head over heels
- Cut to the chase
- Don't cross the bridge until you come to it
The Antonym was asked of the word "Precise". The FIBs consisted of prefixes:
- Prehistoric, Unhistoric, antihistoric etc
The FIBs on Vocabulary consisted of common Confusables:
- Bails-Bales, Bells and Belles
The FIBs on the Preposition had a phrasal verb " Sachin turned in a great performance"
SNAP Analytical and Logical Reasoning Analysis 2021- Slot 3 ( 16 January 2022)
The overall difficulty level of Slot 3 of this section was Moderate. The Analytical and Logical Reasoning section consisted of a total of 25 questions. Similar to Slot 1 & Slot 2, Slot 3 was also dominated by the Analytical Reasoning questions. The difficulty level of this section of Slot 1 was Easy to Difficult while of Slot 2 was Moderate. SNAP Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency Analysis 2021- Slot 3 (16 January 2022)
This section consisted of a total of 20 questions. The overall difficulty level of the Quantitative, Data Interpretation, and Data Sufficiency section on Slot 3 was Easy to Moderate. It was seen that the Slot 3 difficulty level of the QA section was a bit easier than the previous 2 Slots. The overall difficulty level of Slot 1 was Moderate to Difficult while of Slot 2 was Moderate. It was seen earlier that questions on Quantitative aptitude in Slot 2 were a notch easier than Slot 1. Similar to Slot 1 & Slot 2 of SNAP 2021, there were no questions on Data Sufficiency in Slot 3 of SNAP 2021 as well. The DI question was slightly difficult to attempt. Questions from Arithmetic dominated the section.
