SNAP 2021: Exam Day Guidelines, Important Instructions, Things You Should Carry on Exam Day

SNAP 2021 will be held on 19th December 2021, 8th January 2022, 16th January 2022. The exam on 19th December 2and 8th January 2021 was conducted successfully. Note all the important SNAP 2021 Exam Day Guidelines, do's and don'ts for the exam day, and other important instructions. The test duration is of 1 hour (60 minutes). Only eligible Differently Abled Candidates (with/without scribe requirements) will be allowed extra 20 minutes. The test will be submitted automatically after 60 minutes.

With only one day left before the exam, it is very essential to get complete information on the guidelines and important instructions set by the conducting authorities. In this article, we will be sharing all the important information the candidate needs to keep in mind before leaving for the test centre. Let’s get started. SNAP Test 2021 will be conducted in a CBT mode, simultaneously, across 94 cities in India.

SNAP Test 2021 will be held on the below dates:

  • Sunday, December 19, 2021 (02:00 PM to 03:00 PM)
  • Saturday, January 8, 2022 (10:00 AM to 11:00 AM)
  • Sunday, January 16, 2022 (10:00 AM to 11:00 AM)

SNAP 2021 Test Day Guidelines

Here, all the information related to the day of examination is mentioned. The candidates should strictly adhere to the instructions mentioned in the guidelines. The guidelines are divided into DO's and DON’Ts:

SNAP 2021 Test Day Guidelines: DO's

  • It should be noted that candidates have to bring a coloured printout of their SNAP Admit Card 2021. A Black and White copy of admit card will NOT BE ACCEPTABLE.
  • You have to report to the test centre allotted to you whose address is mentioned in the admit card. No other test centre will entertain you to take the test from there.
  • Reach the Test Centre by 12:00 PM on 19th December 2021 and 8:00 AM on 8th & 16th January 2022 and occupy your seat in the computer lab according to the allotment mentioned in the test centre. No candidate will be allowed inside the Test Centre after (02:00 PM) on 19th December 2021 and (10:00 AM) on 8th & 16th January 2022 under any circumstances.
  • Requests for change of test centre will not be entertained.
  • You have to paste your coloured passport-sized photograph in the space provided in the admit card.
  • You must bring with you any of your original photo ID proof
    • Aadhaar Card
    • PAN Card
    • Voter’s ID Card
    • Driver’s License
    • Passport
  • You have to get your admit card duly stamped at the test centre by the invigilator.
  • You will have to get your photograph clicked by the test lab invigilator before you occupy your seat in the test lab.
  • It is suggested that you preserve your admit card even after the test day. You might be asked to show it at the time of admission/selection.

SNAP 2021 Test Day Guidelines: DON’Ts

  • Cell phones, Laptops, Cameras, Beepers, Calculators or any other electronic devices, Digital Diaries, or any piece of paper will not be allowed inside the test centre.
  • Entry to the exam hall will not be allowed after 12:00 PM on 19th December and after 10:00 AM on 8th January & 16th January.
  • Once the test commences, you will not be allowed to leave the examination hall/test lab until the test gets over. Similarly, once you have left the test lab, you will not be allowed to enter the hall.
  • As there is no facility for safekeeping, you must not carry any precious items to the test centre, SIU will not be responsible for any kind of loss.

SNAP 2021 Test Day COVID Guidelines:

  • All the candidates must maintain an optimum social distance from other candidates and staff members of the test centre.
  • Candidates have to bring their own Face-Mask, Gloves, personal hand sanitizer (50ml), transparent water Bottle, a simple ball-pen, and the SNAP test-related documents (Admit Card and ID Card).
  • Candidates possessing any of the COVID symptoms will not be permitted inside the test centre.
  • Candidates have to get their temperature checked at the gate of the test centre. Only those candidates will be allowed to enter the test centre whose temperature is in the permissible range as decided by the authorities.
  • At the registration desk, candidates will be directed to sanitize his / her hands using provided sanitizer. The photograph will be captured during the registration process.

SNAP 2021 Social Distance Guidelines:

Due to COVID the candidates are requested to follow the social distance guidelines given below:

  • Candidates must wear a mask and stand in a queue on the floor marks outside the gate.
  • Candidates should cooperate with the security guard and other staff for getting the body temperature checked and other announcements made by them.
  • Candidates must sanitise their hands before and after signing the attendance sheet.
  • Limited number of candidates are allowed in the baggage area at a time.

Things to Carry to Test Centre on SNAP 2021 Test Day

The candidates have to carry only the following items to the test centre. No other item will be allowed inside the test centre.

  • Coloured copy of SNAP Admit Card 2021
  • An Original and Valid Photo ID proof
  • Face mask
  • Gloves
  • Small transparent bottle of Hand Sanitizer (50 ml.)
  • Small transparent water bottle
  • Blue/Black ball pen
