Vocabulary plays a very important role in enhancing your communication skills, be it written or spoken. As you glance through the newspaper every day, you come across a number of new words. Your reading exercise is impeded if you do not understand the meaning of a word, or its meaning in a given context. Such challenges could be overcome by inculcating a sound habit of reading. The habit lets you encounter something new every day in the form of words, the meaning of which you were unaware of.

Nowadays the English section of Banking exams is full of surprises. In most of the topics, Vocabulary plays an important role and a good hold over it will help you score good marks. Also, Vocabulary helps in understanding the context of sentences while improving communication skills like speaking, listening, reading and writing.

Nobody can cram all the meanings of the words in one go.   • Meaning: referring to something that is greater or larger than normal

  • Meaning: 
    a. the action of making amends for a wrong one has done, by providing payment or other assistance to those who have been wronged.
