Many affluents consider slum as an inferno or a pigsty but it's a home for the destitutes. In the place of nowhere, it's a home to stay . If one considers the full eradication of slum areas, then first provide those people a standard living conditions, uplift them with good infrastructure rather than a frenetic  laggardness. The remedial for this is the awareness through paper, media and social media. Then only people will be triggered for some changes.
