The transduction process involves the conversion of one form of energy into another. Some common examples of transducers are thermometers, microphones, LEDs, and Loudspeakers. 

The primary function of transducers is to convert a physical force into an electrical signal to make the transmission's handling and measurement easy.

An output transducer, also known as the actuator, takes electrical signals and converts them into other forms of energy. For example, A lamp converts electricity into a motor and a light; on the other hand, it also converts electricity into motion.
