Punjab Police Intelligence Assistant Recruitment 2021: Punjab Police has released a recruitment notification for the post of Intelligence Assistant (IA) and constable from eligible candidates. Candidates who have completed their graduation can apply for Punjab Police intelligence assistants (constable rank) in the intelligence cadre and constable in the Investigation Cadre of Punjab Police. A total of 1191 Punjab Police Intelligence Assistants and Constable vacancies are released out of which 794 vacancies are for the post of intelligence assistant constable and 392 are for the post of constables in the investigation cadre. The remaining vacancies will be filled through the sports quota. Punjab Police Constable and IA salary has been fixed at Rs. 19,900/- (minimum pay admissible). The salary for the Punjab Police constable will be given at Level 2 of 7th CPC/Pay Matrix on the recommendations of in-house committee Punjab Police Constable.
The selection process for the Punjab Police IA and constable shall be a 2 (two) stage process consisting of the following Tests:
Stage I: This is the first stage of the Punjab Police Bharti for constable and intelligence assistant. Stage 1 is a computer based test (CBT) with Multiple Choice Question (MCQ).
Stage II: Candidates who will qualify stage 1 will be called to appear for the Punjab Police IA and constable stage 2 recruitment process. The following activities will be held in the 2nd stage of Punjab Police IA and constable recruitment.
The Physical Measurement Test and Physical Screening Test shall be qualifying in nature.
