Punjab SSSB has closed the online portal for receiving the online applications for PSSSB Senior Industrial Promotion Officer (SIPO), Block Level Extension Officer, Excise and Taxation Inspector as the last date to apply online for the recruitment is over. The board will now announce the PSSSB exam date for the PSSSB SIPO exam soon on its official website. After the declaration of the PSSSB SIPO, BLEO & Excise, and Taxation Inspector exam date, the admit card will be released a week before the PSSSB exam date. PSSSB Recruitment 2021 for SIPO, Block Level Extension Officer, Excise and Taxation Inspector

PSSSB Recruitment notification 2021 has been released by the Punjab Subordinate Service Selection Board (PSSSB). PSSSB Recruitment notification is released for the post of Senior Industrial Promotion Officer (SIPO), Block Level Extension Officer, Excise, and Taxation Inspector. Through this recruitment, PSSSB will be filling up a total of 168 vacancies. The online application process for Punjab SSSB has already been started from 21st May until 15th June 2021. However, you can pay the application fee till 18th June 2021.

If you hold the required eligibility criteria for PSSSB Recruitment for a particular post, then you should apply before the last date. The exam date for PSSSB SIPO, Block Extension Officer, Excise, and Taxation Inspector is yet to be announced. The full form of PSSSB is Punjab Subordinate Service Selection Board. PSSSB is the Public Service Commission that is responsible for making recruitment to civil services and for civil posts in Punjab. PSSSB releases recruitment notifications for various Group B, C, and D posts to fill the various department under it. The recruitment for such posts is released officially on PSSSB's website which is https://sssb.punjab.gov.in/. The selection of candidates for the various posts for which it releases recruitment is done through a written examination followed by an interview or another round of examination as per the requirement of the examination.

Registration for PSSSB Recruitment

• Visit the official website of PSSSB  or the direct link that is mentioned below here. 
• As you visit the homepage of PSSSB, click on the career/recruitment tab.
• Then click on the link that displays,  “PSSSB Senior Industrial Promotion Officer, Block Level Extension Officer, and Excise & Taxation Inspector Recruitment against Advt No. 09/2021”
• Click on the ‘New Candidate Registration’ link to obtain the registration number and password.

• Fill the details in the PSSSB Registration form 2021 and click on the submit button.
• A registration number/user name and password will be generated. The PSSSB registration number/user name and password will be sent to your mobile number and email id as well.

• In the next step, log in using the registration number/user name and password of PSSSB, to complete the rest of the steps of the online application form.
• Fill in your basic information, education details, and other necessary information.
• Upload your photograph, signature and save it. 
• After this, upload the required educational qualification certificates in the space provided. 
• Make any corrections if required before moving to the next step.
• Lastly, pay the required amount of the application fee for PSSSB Recruitment 2021. 

Application Fee for Punjab SSSB Recruitment

Age Limit for PSSSB exam

The lower age limit is 18 years while the upper age limit is 37 years. Age relaxation will be applicable for the reserved category candidates of Punjab domicile only. 

The selection of the candidates who will apply successfully for the PSSSB Recruitment 2021  as per their eligibility criteria will be done through an objective type (Multiple Choice Question, MCQ) written test. 

• A common merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in the written test for the purpose of selection.
• The selected candidates who will obtain the qualifying marks will be called for counselling for verification of all the types of documents. 

Qualifying Marks for PSSSB Recruitment

At least 40% marks in the written test must be obtained by the candidates for getting selected for the counselling round of PSSSB Recruitment 2021. Candidates obtaining less than 40% will be disqualified from the selection process. 

In case, the examination for PSSSB 2021 is conducted in multiple shifts, then normalization will be applied. On the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates, the normalisation formula will be applied as given below.

The salary for each of the posts in PSSSB is given below in the table. The candidates will also be given other perks and allowances as per the Govt. of Punjab.

After the Board has received the online application form for the PSSSB recruitment, it will issue admit card on its official website. No admit card for PSSSB Recruitment will be sent by post. The candidates will need to login with their login credentials on the Board’s website to download it.  

PSSSB Result 2021

PSSSB Result for the written test will be released on the board’s website. The candidates who will obtain the cut off marks in the written test will be called to take part in the counselling round. The candidates who will take the PSSSB Objective type exam will have to visit the PSSSB Website to download the result.
