DU NTA Non-Teaching Exam Pattern 2021

NTA DU Non-Teaching Exam Pattern 2021: As you know that the Delhi University (DU) has released a DU NTA Non Teaching Recruitment 2021 for 1145 vacancies for a number of posts. The DU Non teaching exam will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Though NTA has not disclosed the DU Non Teaching exam date 2021 yet, however, the candidates who have applied for NTA DU non-teaching posts such as Junior Assistant, Assistant, Registrar and other posts must be well versed with the DU Non Teaching Exam Pattern. Know the NTA DU Non Teaching Exam Pattern and Syllabus in detail for all the posts. 

Since a number of posts have been released for the DU Non teaching recruitment, therefore, it is important that you know the DU Non Teaching exam pattern in detail for the post you have applied for. Know the DU  Non teaching Exam Pattern for Senior Technical Assistant, Personal Assistant, Stenographer, Junior Assistant, Laboratory Attendant, Assistant, and other posts.

DU NTA Non Teaching Exam Pattern for Medical Officer

  • DU Non teaching exam pattern for Medical officer will comprise of two parts. 
  • Part I will be computer based paper while part II will be personality test. 
  • Paper I will cover the General Medicine and Paediatrics while Paper II will cover questions on Surgery and Gynaecology & Obstetrics and Preventive & Social Medicine.
  • All the questions in Paper I will be objective multiple-choice questions.
  • There is a negative marking of 0.25 mark per question.
  • Candidates who will qualify the online exam will be called to appear for the Personality Test or interview.

Qualifying Marks for DU Medical Officer

Here is the category wise qualifying marks for the post of NTA DU Medical Officer. 

  • The qualifying marks for the DU Medical Officer is at least 50%.
  • The minimum qualifying marks for Part I, i.e. Paper I and Paper II taken separately shall be 45% for the unreserved posts and 40% for the posts reserved for OBC category and 35% for the posts reserved for SC/ST/ PwBD category. 
  • If the number of candidates qualifying is more than 30 times the advertised posts, the merit list would be restricted to 30 times the advertised posts for the purpose of shortlisting the candidates for interview.
  • The final Merit list shall be drawn only for candidates who qualify both the Papers I and II and Personality Test/Interview separately. 
  • The Merit list shall be drawn on the basis of combined scores of both the papers and interview. 

DU NTA Non Teaching Exam Pattern for Assistant Registrar

  • There shall be two parts for the NTA Non-Teaching post, Paper I and Paper II.
  • Paper I will have only multiple choice questions while Paper II will have descriptive questions that need to answered. 
  • Answer script of Paper II will be corrected only if a candidate qualifies NTA Assistant Registrar Paper I.
  • Further, candidates who will secure the cutoff marks in both Paper I and Paper II will be called to appear for the Personality Test.
  • One will have to score at least 50% in the Personality Test to be considered for drawing the final merit list.

The selection process for NTA DU Non Teaching Post comprises various stages for various posts. Important Points to note for NTA DU Non-Teaching Exam Pattern 2021

Here are some of the very important points that you should know with regard to the DU Non-Teaching Post Exam pattern 2021.

  • The question paper shall be in English language only for the post of Medical Officer
  • For the other posts in the NTA DU non teaching posts, the paper will be bilingual, i.e. English and Hindi.
  • The skill test will be qualifying in nature for the posts for which the skill test is being conducted.
  • One must score at leaset 50% in the skill test or personality test to be eligible for consideration into the merit list.
  • 15 minutes extra per hour would be given to the candidates belonging to the Visually Handicapped, Cerebral Palsy candidates or similarly placed candidates from PwBD category
  • There shall be negative marking for wrong answers in Paper I to the tune of 1/4th of marks allocated per question in the Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
  • For the posts where there are two papers, Paper II will be evaluated only if you qualify Paper I. 
  • The minimum overall qualifying marks for Paper I and Paper II shall be 45% for the unreserved posts and 40% for the posts reserved for OBC category and 35% for the posts reserved for SC/ST/ PwBD category 
  • For those posts in the NTA DU Non Teaching posts, where there is only one paper, the qualifying marks for the General category shall be 45%,  40% for the posts reserved for the OBC category and 35% for the posts reserved for SC/ST/ PwBD category
