- There is a negative marking of 0.25 mark per question.

Qualifying Marks for DU Medical Officer
Here is the category wise qualifying marks for the post of NTA DU Medical Officer.
- The qualifying marks for the DU Medical Officer is at least 50%.
- The minimum qualifying marks for Part I, i.e. Paper I and Paper II taken separately shall be 45% for the unreserved posts and 40% for the posts reserved for OBC category and 35% for the posts reserved for SC/ST/ PwBD category.
- If the number of candidates qualifying is more than 30 times the advertised posts, the merit list would be restricted to 30 times the advertised posts for the purpose of shortlisting the candidates for interview.
- The final Merit list shall be drawn only for candidates who qualify both the Papers I and II and Personality Test/Interview separately.
- The Merit list shall be drawn on the basis of combined scores of both the papers and interview.

- There shall be two parts for the NTA Non-Teaching post, Paper I and Paper II.
- Paper I will have only multiple choice questions while Paper II will have descriptive questions that need to answered.
- Answer script of Paper II will be corrected only if a candidate qualifies NTA Assistant Registrar Paper I.
- Further, candidates who will secure the cutoff marks in both Paper I and Paper II will be called to appear for the Personality Test.
