The final selection will be through merit based on the score obtained by the candidates in the whole selection process. The maximum score which can be offered is 150. Additional marks are offered to the candidate with desired qualification or any candidate with an “NCC” certificate. The selection process is discussed in detail below:
Physical Standard Test: This is more of eligibility criteria for any candidates in terms of height and weight. The minimum physical requirement from the candidates are listed below:

Physical Endurance Test: Candidates with the required physical standards will proceed to the next selection stage which is the physical endurance test in which the candidates have to complete the given physical task within a given time limit based on the performance of which candidates will be awarded marks. Various physical events are listed below:
Long Race: Candidates have to complete the race of 1600 meters within 7 minutes and 30 seconds. Maximum marks awarded in this event are 25. Marks awarded to the candidates in this task are given in detail below:

Only the candidates who qualify for the long race will proceed to the Short sprint.
Short Sprint: Candidates have to complete a short sprint of 100 meters within the provided time limit. The maximum time limit for male candidates is 15 seconds while for female candidates it is 17 seconds.

Scrutiny of Documents: Candidates who qualify for the given tasks will have to appear for document verification in which they have to submit all the original documents along with self-attested photocopies. Failed to submit any documents, the application will be rejected.
Written Test: After document verification, candidates have to appear in the written test which is an 80 minutes test consisting of 100 questions divided into 4 sections. The detailed exam pattern of the written test is listed below:

Desired Qualification: Candidates who fulfill other desired qualifications are eligible for a maximum of 5% additional marks on the basis of their performance in the driving test or computer proficiency test. Other additional 5% marks are offered to the candidates who have NCC certificates on the basis of the category of NCC certificates.
Final Selection: The final selection of the candidates will be made through merit on the basis of the candidate’s performance in all the rounds. Merit is prepared from the candidates out of 150 marks.
