In order to be considered eligible for Ladakh Police Recruitment 2021 candidates need to fulfill certain criteria like education, age, and physical measurement which are discussed in detail below:

Education Qualification: Candidates need to have passed the 10th class from a recognized board in order to apply for Ladakh Police recruitment. Any candidate who is a special police officer with at least 3 years of engagement with the police force will have a relaxation to have passed up to 8th class only.
Age Limit: Candidates must be between the age limit of 18-28 years. For any special police force officer, the age relaxation is up to 37 years.
Physical Standards: For any candidates who wish to join the defense, must fulfill the physical standards mentioned by the authorities. For Ladakh police, physical standards include height and chest (for males only). Physical Standards are listed below:

Other desired Qualification: Any candidates who fulfill the above-mentioned eligibility criteria can apply for the post. However, if any candidates fulfill the given below desired qualifications will be awarded additional marks of a maximum of 5% during the final selection. The desired qualification are listed below:
- Proficiency in driving and possession of light motor vehicles driving license.
- One year certified course in computer application from an institute recognized by AICTE
National Cadet Corps (NCC) certificate holders: Like the desired qualification, any candidate with an NCC certificate will be eligible for additional marks (5% maximum) based on the certificate he shows during document verification. Marks awarded for NCC Certificate holder are listed below:
