JSSC CGL 2022 Exam Pattern & Syllabus
The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has released an official notice regarding Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) on their official website – jssc.nic.in. Candidates can fill and submit the application forms between January 15, 2022, and February 14, 2022. This recruitment drive is for the selection of Assistant Branch Officer, Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Block Supply Officer, and Planning Assistant. A total of 956 vacancies will be filled. JSSC CGL Paper-1 Exam Pattern
As per the official notice, the tier I exam comprises 120 questions carrying 3 marks each, and 1 mark will be deducted on giving a wrong answer. Candidates are allotted a total time of 120 minutes or 2 hours to solve the JSSC CGL Tier I paper. The paper is divided into two sections – English and Hindi with 60 questions asked from each section. This section will consist of objective type- multiple choice questions only.
Candidates should note that the qualifying mark for this exam is 30%.

JSSC CGL Paper-2 Exam Pattern
JSSC CGL Tier II comprises 100 questions in total with a maximum mark of 300. There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer and 3 marks will be given for each correct answer. The duration of JSSC CGL Tier II is 2 hours.
In this section, questions related to Indo-Aryan languages like Oriya, Sadri, Bengali, Angika, Bhojpuri, Urdu, Santhali, Mundari, Khortha, Jharkhand, etc. will be asked. Candidates can choose the language before beginning the paper and answer all the questions within the allotted time. Just like Paper-1, the minimum qualifying marks are 30%.

JSSC CGL Paper-3 Exam Pattern
As per the official notice, the tier III exam comprises 150 questions carrying 3 marks each. There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer. The paper is divided into six sections – General Studies, Mathematics, General Science, Computer, Mental Ability, and General Knowledge Questions related to Jharkhand.
