JK Police SI Eligibility Criteria 2021: The JK Police Sub Inspector Eligibility Criteria is defined by the J&K Service Selection Board (JKSSB) in its official website. Candidates who are interested in applying for the JK Police SI exam must be aware of the JK Police SI eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria for the JK Sub Inspector includes fulfilment of the age limit, educational qualification, domicile as well as fulfilling the height and weight for the same.

Domicile for JK Police Sub Inspector
The candidates who will be applying for the JK Police Sub Inspector post should make sure that they have the domicile certificate of Jammu and Kashmir. Candidates who do not have the JK domicile are not eligible to apply.
JK Police SI Educational Qualification
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university to be able to apply for the JK Police Sub Inspector post. There is no minimum percentage requirement. For ex-servicemen who have the certificate of education from the Indian Army or the corresponding certificate from the Navy or Air Force will also be considered eligible.
JK Police SI Age Limit
The age limit varies as per the post or category of the candidates. The minimum age limit is 18 years while the maximum age is 30. The age limit for different categories is listed in the table below.

Ex-Servicemen having served in the Armed Forces will be allowed to deduct the service period from their actual age and the resulting age will do not exceed the given age by 3 years.
JK Police Sub Inspector Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Height and Weight Measurement
Any service in defence not only requires aptitude but the candidates also be physically fit enough to serve in the force. The physical standards are in terms of height and weight. Physical standards for both male and female candidates are given below:

Physical Standards for J&K Police SI for Ex-Servicemen
Physical Efficiency Test: Candidates in order to prove that they are physically worthy to be considered for the post also have to complete the physical tasks which include Long Race and shot sprint. Physical Efficiency Test is discussed in detail below
