ICAR IARI Assistant Selection Process 2022
Candidates should be well acquainted with the ICAR IARI Assistant selection process before commencing their preparation. They will be able to crack the exam and achieve the minimum marks in ICAR IARI Assistant prelims & main exam by gaining an understanding of the exam format & marking scheme. ICAR IARI Assistant Prelims Selection Process
- The ICAR IARI Assistant prelims exam will be held in online mode. It comprises objective-type multiple-choice questions.
- ICAR IARI Assistant question paper will be set in English & Hindi except for English Comprehension.
- There will be a negative marking of 1/3rd mark for each wrong answer.

ICAR IARI Assistant Mains Selection Process
- Paper I of ICAR IARI assistant main exam will be held online mode and Paper II of the main exam shall be conducted in the offline mode.
- ICAR IARI assistant main exam of Paper I contains objective-type multiple-choice questions whereas Paper II consists of descriptive-type questions.
- There shall be a negative marking of 1/3rd mark for each wrong answer in Paper I of the ICAR IARI assistant mains exam.
- Candidate must note that the Paper II will be evaluated on the basis of the aggregate performance in the Paper I of ICAR IARI assistant mains exam. If a candidate fails to obtain minimum marks in the Paper I of the ICAR IARI mains exam 2022, then their answer sheet for Paper-II will not be evaluated.

ICAR IARI Assistant Skill Test Selection Process
The candidates will be shortlisted for the Skill Test on the basis of their aggregate performance in Paper I & Paper II of the ICAR IARI assistant mains exam. The key highlights of the ICAR IARI assistant skill test are shared below:
- ICAR IARI assistant CPT is qualifying in nature and candidates have to be qualifying in all the three modules,
- ICAR IARI assistant computer proficiency test will be conducted comprising three modules (i) Word Processing, (ii) SpreadSheet, and (iii) Generation of Slides.
- The duration of each module shall be 15 minutes. These modules will be held one after the other.
ICAR IARI Assistant Final Selection
The ICAR IARI Assistant final selection will be prepared on the basis of the overall marks obtained by the candidates in the Paper -I and Paper II of the ICAR IARI Assistant mains exam. After qualifying in the CPT round, the final selection of the candidates in their respective category shall be made on the basis of aggregate marks scored by them in the mains Exam only and the final selection list of the candidates shall be prepared accordingly.

The verification of the eligibility of the candidates with respect to the documents and details submitted by them will be done after the announcement of the ICAR IARI Assistant result. If the candidate does not carry any of the following documents, then their candidature shall be canceled/rejected.
