The applicants who will get qualified in the ICAR IARI Assistant prelims exam will further move towards the ICAR IARI Assistant mains exam. ICAR IARI Assistant mains exam pattern 2022 includes the following details given below:
- Paper I of ICAR IARI mains exam shall be conducted online mode whereas paper II for ICAR IARI Assistant main exam shall be conducted in the offline mode.
- The ICAR IARI mains exam Paper I shall comprise objective-type multiple-choice questions whereas Paper II contains descriptive-type questions.
- There shall be a negative marking of 1/3rd mark for each wrong answer in Paper I of the ICAR IARI Assistant mains exam and no negative for paper II i.e. descriptive subject.

ICAR IARI Assistant Skill Test Exam Pattern
After the completion of ICAR IARI Assistant prelims and mains exam, the commission shall call the selected candidates to appear for ICAR IARI Assistant skill test. The candidates practical abilities will be tested in this phase. Candidates who do not appear for the ICAR IARI Assistant skill test shall be rejected from the merit list. ICAR IARI Assistant computer proficiency test will be conducted comprising three modules (i) Word processing, (ii) SpreadSheet, and (iii) Generation of slides.
- The duration of each module shall be 15 minutes. These modules will be conducted one after the other.
- The computer proficiency test is qualifying in nature and qualifying in all three modules shall be compulsory.
ICAR IARI Assistant Marking Scheme
