Physical Standard Test: It can be considered as an eligibility test that students must clear in order to abe to appear in the written test. Candidates must be eligible physically in terms of height, weight, and age to apply for a post under the police academy. Various physical standards are listed below

Candidates who do fulfill the above requirements will not be able to proceed further in the selection process.
Physical Efficiency Test: Candidates after fulfilling the given requirements will now have to clear the Physical Efficiency Test to proceed further in the selection process. Physical Efficiency includes various tasks within time limits and other standards. Various tasks which the candidates have to complete are listed below:

Candidates who do not qualify for the physical efficiency test will not eligible to move forwards in the selection process further.
Now the candidates have to show that they are physically fit to become a police constable. The only way to find out more suitable candidates is a test of their mental abilities in the form of a written test.
Written Test: Candidates who have cleared the Physical Efficiency Test have to appear in a written test which is a 1-hour test consisting of 80 questions from different subjects. Details of the written test are listed below:

Candidates, in order to qualify for the paper, have to secure a minimum of 50% marks on the paper. Selected candidates have to get their documents verified.
Scrutiny of Documents: Candidates have to get their documents verified by the authorities. Documents include educational certificates and other documents verifying their achievements in other fields like sports and others. Documents verification has a 15% weightage in the final merit.
