Candidates along with the eligibility criteria should keep in mind the important dates related to the HP Police Constable Exam 2021 as they can be helpful for their application process and examination preparation. 

There is no special requirement in the eligibility criteria of HP Police Constable. Candidates who wish to apply for the post of constable in Himachal Pradesh police just have to fulfill the age, educational qualification, and physical statistics to be eligible for the post of HP Police Constable. Various parameters under HP Police Constable eligibility criteria are discussed below: 

• Age: Any candidate who wishes to apply for HP Police constable should be at least 18 years of age and not older than 27 years as of Oct 1, 2021. 
• Nationality: A candidate must be a citizen of India.
• Educational Qualification: Any candidates must have completed basic school education i.e 10+2. 
• Physical Standard: Any post in the police or defense services demands that the candidate should be physically fit and also fulfill certain physical standards like height and weight. Any general male candidate should be at least 5 foot 6 inches tall (5 foot 4 for SC/ST category) while any female candidate should be at least 5 foot 2 inches tall to be eligible for any post of constable.

Candidates after filling their application form will be called out for a physical standard test and should be able to fulfill the physical requirements to proceed forward in the HP Police Constable selection process. After clearing physical standards candidates have to clear the Physical efficiency test.
