The educational qualification, work experience requirement, and age limit for Calcutta High Court District Judge is as follows:

(a) You should be a citizen of India;
(b) You should have attained the age of 35 years and should not be more than 45 years (relaxation of 3 years on upper age for the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes
and the Scheduled Tribes) on the first day of January of the year in which applications for recruitment are invited;
(c) You should be practicing for not less than seven years as an advocate as on 01-01-2020 ; and
(d)You should have good character and must be of sound health and free from any bodily defect which renders him/her unfit for such appointment
