RRB NTPC Exam Guidelines: RRB NTPC CBT 2 Exam is around the corner for levels 2, 3 and 5. In this article, we are going to provide you all with the information regarding the RRB NTPC CBT 2 exam guidelines released by the board for the successful conduction of the examination amidst the Covid-19 Pandemic. The Indian Railways is one of the largest organisations in the world that provides recruitment to thousands of candidates every year through exams like RRB NTPC and RRB GROUP-D in the Railways. RRB is now all set to conduct RRB NTPC CBT 2 from 12th to 17th June 2022 for levels 2, 3, and 5. The CBT 2 exam for other pay levels has already been conducted on 09 and 10 May 2022.

RRB will soon release the RRB NTPC admit card for CBT 2 for all the regions on the official website. Read this article further to know about the RRB NTPC exam guidelines for CBT 2 that must be followed by the candidates before the exam, during the exam, and after the exam.

RRB NTPC CBT 2 Exam Guidelines 2022 

Below are the exam day guidelines for RRB NTPC CBT 2 2022. Candidates should refer to them before going for the examination.

RRB NTPC Exam Guidelines CBT 2 2022: Before the Exam Instructions

1) Candidates are advised to be at the exam hall 1 hour prior to the examination to avoid frisking.

2) Print admit card on the A4 sheet a few days prior to the examination.

3) Candidates are advised to visit the exam centre one day prior to the examination.

Important Documents to carry in RRB NTPC CBT-2 2022 Exam:

1) Candidates should, in addition to their admit card, produce at least one valid document (as on date) and the original photo ID proof amongst the following at the examination venue on the day of examination:

  1. Aadhar Card/printout of e-aadhar
  2. Voter's ID Card
  3. Driving License
  4. Passport
  5. PAN Card
  6. Service ID Card issued to employees by Central Govt./ State Govt./PSUs
  7. ID Card issued by University/ College/ School
  8. Ex-Serviceman Discharge Book issued by the Ministry of Defense
  9. Any other Photo Identity Proof issued by Central Govt./ State Govt.

2) If the photo ID does not contain the complete date of birth, then the candidate must carry an additional original document as mentioned below having the date of birth as printed on the admission certificate.

3) 10th Admit Card/ Pass Certificate / Marks Sheet issued only by CBSE/ ICSE/ State Boards with photographs; Birth Certificate, Category Certificate etc, issued only by Central Govt./ State Govt./ PSUs.

4) In case of a mismatch in the date of birth mentioned in the Admission Certificate and Photo ID Proof/ the Certificate brought in support of the date of birth, the candidate will not be allowed to appear in the examination.

5) Two copies of their latest coloured photo. 

6) If a candidate fails to bring the above documents, he/she would not be admitted to the examination venue and his/her candidature could be cancelled. 

RRB NTPC Exam Guidelines 2022: During the Exam Instructions

1) Candidates have to go through the photo and biometric capture process at the registration desk, after entering the test lab.

2) Candidates have to follow sitting arrangement rules designed as per the social distance protocols for the safe conduction of the examination.

3) All the labs are under CCTV surveillance.

4) In case the candidate goes out for the bio break then, the photo and biometric capture process will be done again as per the RRB norms.

5) Candidates are not allowed to take certain prohibited items with them during the examination.

6) Pen and the rough sheet will be provided to the candidates in the examination hall.

7) The candidature of the candidates is provisional and any kind of misconduct can lead to debarment from the examination and even cancellation of candidature.

  • Calculators,
  • Bluetooth Devices
  • Cell Phones,
  • Pagers,
  • Wallets,
  • Metallic Items,
  • Ornaments,
  • Belts,
  • Helmet etc.

RRB NTPC CBT 2 Exam Guidelines 2022: After the Exam Instructions

1) After the completion of the examination, candidates are not allowed to leave until the lab supervisor instructs them to do so.

2) Candidates are advised to maintain social distancing when leaving the lab.

3) They should move out in an orderly manner. 

4) They are not allowed to gather up and discuss within the premises.

5) They are advised to check all their belongings before they leave the lab.

6) The staff is present so that everything completes smoothly.

Safety Guidelines for the RRB NTPC CBT 2 Exam

1) Thermal Screening of the candidates will be done when they enter the exam premises.

2) Candidates are advised to maintain social distancing norms.

3) Candidates are advised to take transparent water bottles and a small bottle of hand sanitiser with them.

4) All the candidates should wear a mask, candidates without masks will be debarred from the examination.

5) Over-crowding and gathering are not allowed inside the exam premises.

6) Candidates having the permissible limit of the body temperature are allowed for the examination, while the candidates having higher body temperature are not allowed inside the exam premises.

7) Candidates should carry a signed no-objection certificate with them for the examination.

RRB NTPC Exam Guidelines: General Instructions

  • The Clock will be set by the server and will work in a countdown manner and it will appear at the rightmost top corner of your desktop.
  • The exam will automatically submit after 90 mins.
  • The question palette displayed on the right side of the screen will show the status of each question i.e., 

1) Not visited the question

2) Not answered the question

3) Answered the question

4) Not Answered but marked for review

5) Answered but marked for review

  • You can navigate right, left, up and down for any question.
  • You can change the language of the examination by clicking on the profile picture.
  • If you answered the question and marked it for a review then that question will be considered for evaluation.

RRB NTPC 2022 Important Dates

RRB NTPC CBT-2 Shift Timings 2022

The RRB NTPC CBT-2 exam is going to be conducted in two shifts on all the allotted days. The shift timings for RRB NTPC CBT-2 are given below for which candidates are advised to report to the exam centre 1 hour prior to the examination.
