Major Changes introduced in RBI Grade B Exam 2020-2021: RBI has already released its official notification for the recruitment of RBI Grade B Officer with a total of 322 vacancies for three different posts of General (DR), RBI Officers in Grade B (DR) – (DEPR) and RBI Officers in Grade B (DR)(DSIM). This year RBI has shocked aspirants with the changes in its official notification. Unlike the previous year, the exam pattern, eligibility criteria have been changed this year. Candidates who are applying for the post must check the detailed notification carefully to avoid any discrepancy.

What are the changes introduced in RBI Grade B Recruitment 2020-2021?

Latest RBI Grade B Eligibility Criteria

According to the notification released in 2019, there were minimum percentage criteria in demanded in Graduation, 12th (or diploma or equivalent) and 10th standard examinations. But as per the latest RBI Grade B official notification 2020-2021, there is no minimum percentage criteria specified for 12th and 10th standard. check details below.

Changes Introduced in RBI Grade B Exam Pattern 2021

If we talk about the exam pattern, major changes can be seen in this part. Earlier there used to be only objective type questions in mains exam in paper 1 but this year RBI has introduced some shocking changes. RBI has changed the RBI Grade B mains exam pattern and has introduced 50% objective and 50% subjective paper in Mains exam paper 1. This is going to be really challenging for the aspirants especially who are going to experience this exam for the first time. Let us now discuss the changes in details.

Changes Introduced in RBI Grade B Work Experience 

As per the notification released in 2019, nothing was mentioned that candidates with no prior experience can apply for the post. But this year, RBI has mentioned that candidates with no prior experience are eligible to apply. This is good news for all the freshers who want to participate in RBI Grade B recruitment this year. This year RBI has also changed the total marks for interview round. The earlier interview was of 50 marks but this year interview round will be 75 marks. Although candidates are allowed to opt the interview round in Hindi and English like the previous year. For more details check the table below.
