Age Eligibility

• The age eligibility is between 20-28 years. To be eligible for the RBI Assistant 2022 Exam, a candidate must be between the ages of 20 and 28. The applicant must have been born between February 2, 1994, and February 1, 2022. Candidates from the reserved category are given an age reduction.
• However, the RBI has granted various age concessions to students applying for Assistant positions in the following categories:

Overview of the Prelims Exam Pattern

• The prelim stage of RBI Assistant is qualifying in nature.
• The total mark is 100 marks in 1 hour.
• There are a total of 3 sections.
• There is a negative marking of 1/4th of the marks assigned to that question.

Overview of the Mains Exam Pattern

• There are 5 sections in the objective test i.e reasoning ability, numerical ability,  English, computer awareness, and general/financial awareness.
• Every section will consist of 40 questions with 40 marks.
• There is a different sectional time limit for every section.

RBI Assistant Salary:

Assistants will be paid a beginning basic wage of 20,700/- per month on a scale of 20700 – 1200 (3) – 24300 – 1440 (4) – 30060 – 1920 (6) – 41580 – 2080 (2) – 45740 – 2370 (3) – 52850 – 2850 – 55700 (20 years) and additional allowances, such as transportation.

As admissible from time to time, Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, Transportation Allowance, and so on. Assistants' starting monthly gross emoluments will be around 45,050/- at the moment.

*House Allowance of 15% of Pay will be paid to employees additionally if they are not staying in Bank’s accommodation.
