The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation has released a recruitment notification for the various Non-Executive Posts such as Junior Engineering Assistant (JEA), Junior Technician, Junior Marine Radio Assistant (JMRA), Junior Scientific Assistant (JSA), Junior Technical Assistant (Surveying), and many more. According to the released ONGC Notification, a total of 992 vacancies will be filled. The online application for ONGC recruitment has been already closed. Aspirants who have applied successfully must prepare for the various stages of the selection process.

ONGC JE Selection Process 2022

Aspirants who have successfully applied for the ONGC Recruitment 2022 must have started preparation for various stages of the ONGC selection process. In the recruitment notification, the stages of the selection process are divided into two stages. The list of stages of the ONGC JE selection process is as follows:

  • Online Written Examination
  • Typing Test/ Skill Test / Physical Test (according to the post)

On successfully qualifying the above two stages will finally be appointed to ONGC.

ONGC JE Selection Process Written Examination

The initial phase of selection is the written examination. Those candidates who qualify in the ONGC JE written examination will be called for the next phase of the selection process. 

The format of the ONGC JE written examination is as follows:

  • The ONGC examination will be objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
  • The duration of the ONGC exam is 2 Hours.
  • ONGC question paper is divided into two parts.
  • In the first part question will be from General Mental Ability & Aptitude- Interpersonal Skills, Logical Reasoning/ Analytical/ comprehension Ability, etc while the second part will have questions from Subject/Domain as per the stream chosen by the candidates. 
  • There will be a total of 100 questions in the ONGC online test. 
  • Each question will be 1 mark, therefore, the complete online exam will be 100 marks.
  • In ONGC Exam, there will be no negative marking.
