NMAT 2018 exam will by conducted a global non-profit organization GMAC, which is the owner & administrator of the GMAT/NMAT exams. So here we're sharing eligibility criteria of NAMT Exam. It is conducted every year by GMAC as the entrance test for the various management courses of NMIMS Mumbai like Full-Time MBA, MBA (Pharmaceutical Management), MBA (HR), MBA (Capital Market), MBA (Banking); and the PGDM courses of NMIMS Hyderabad and Bengaluru. There are other top colleges also which accept the NMAT scores for their admission procedure. The application procedure for the exam will start from the month of August 2017

There are other top colleges also which accept the NMAT scores for their admission procedure. The application procedure for the exam will start from the month of August 2017.

A candidate is allowed to take at maximum 3 retakes of this exam in a single session. This includes the two retakes after the first attempt, including no-shows (if the candidates wish so) in the booked test. The result of all the attempts is declared separately approximately after 20 days of the attempt. The best scores out of all the attempts are considered for the shortlisting procedure for the candidates having multiple attempts.

NMAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria

To appear for the NMAT 2018 exam, all the candidates must satisfy the following eligibility criteria:

For Indian Candidates:

  •  The candidate must have a Full-Time Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate in the first attempt. The candidate must have completed graduation in the stipulated duration as per the respective University/Institution awarding the degree.
  • Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply.
  • For all the Full-Time programs, candidates with two or more years of post-qualification work experience will be preferred.

NMAT Eligibility Criteria for international Candidates

  • Admission to such candidates will be granted on the basis of getting clearance from their government (in case of the requirement) and a visa from the Indian Embassy in his/her country
  • A full-time Bachelor degree in any discipline from any recognized University and also passed with minimum 50% marks in aggregate in the first attempt.
  • Valid GMAT score of 600 and above. The score for last 3 years up to October 2016 will be considered of the GMAT exam.

NMAT examination is not conducted on a single day, the candidates are provided with the booking window which is activated after the application procedure where the candidate has to select a particular date for writing the test. The same goes for rescheduling the test. The students are shortlisted on the basis of the scores obtained in the written test. These shortlisted candidates undergo the procedure of Case Discussion/Group Discussion and Personal Interviews of different B-schools. The final candidates are selected on the basis of their overall performance.
