NMAT 2022 Exam Day Guidelines, Do’s and Don’ts for Online Proctored Mode

NMAT 2022 is about to start from     onwards and this is the time when most of the appearing candidates look for the most appropriate NMAT 2022 exam day guidelines to get a clear understanding of the NMAT 2022 Do’s and Don’ts. We have compiled a complete list of things candidates need to keep in mind while going to take the NMAT 2022 exam (either CBT at the test centre or Online Proctored test at home). Let’s get started!

NMAT 2022 will be a 120 minutes test in which candidates get a chance to choose the order of the sections before the test starts. Candidates can check all the important points they must know in the article below.

NMAT 2022 Exam Day Guidelines

GMAC, the exam conducting authority of NMAT 2022 issues guidelines along with the NMAT Admit Card 2022 to be followed by the candidates appearing for NMAT 2022 (CBT or Online Proctored mode). Given below are some instructions to be followed:

DO’s

  • Candidates are required to bring the NMAT Admit Card 2022 in hard copy with them to the examination center. No candidate will be permitted to enter the examination center without the admit card
  • Candidates are required to carry any one of the following photo identification proofs in original:
    • Aadhaar Card
    • Voter’s Card
    • Driver’s License
    • PAN Card
    • Passport
  • Candidates must also bring a printout of the exam center confirmation mail which they must have received on their registered email address while booking their slot, day, and time of NMAT 2022
  • Candidates are advised to report at least 30 minutes before the reporting time mentioned on their admit card

DON’Ts

  • Candidates must not possess any electronic devices such as mobile phones, blue tooth devices, smart watched, pager, etc with them to the examination center or even while appearing for NMAT 2022 by online proctored mode
  • While taking the NMAT 2022 from home in online proctored mode, the webcam and microphone of the system should be on until the exam ends and the candidate’s ears must be visible
  • Candidates must not carry any loose paper/sheets to the examination center
  • Candidates must not reach the examination beyond the gate closing time as mentioned in the NMAT Admit Card 2022, their entry shall not be entertained

NMAT 2022: Guidelines for Home-Based Online Proctored Test

This year, candidates can also appear for the NMAT 2022 exam from their home through the Online Proctored mode of testing. This mode has been adopted by the authority given the COVID-19 pandemic spread across the globe. There are a few things candidates should keep in mind before appearing for NMAT 2022 in this mode. The details are given below:

  • Candidates can check their computer readiness before the exam by visiting this link – https://prod.examity.com/NMATSystemCheck/check.aspx
  • The candidate must be alone in the room
  • The desk area must be clear and no unnecessary items shall be kept around
  • The system/laptop must be connected to the power source throughout the exam
  • No mobile phones or any other electronic devices are allowed in the room where a candidate is appearing for the NMAT 2021
  • There must be no dual monitors attached to the system
  • Candidates must remain seated throughout the test
  • Candidates must not read the questions aloud
  • Candidates’ ears must be visible in the webcam and the microphone of the system shall remain on throughout the examination
  • All the open applications on the system must be closed before the candidate starts taking the examination
  • 2 A4 blank sheets of paper and a pencil must be shown to the proctor before commencing the examination
  • Proctor may ask the candidate to show a 360 view of the room
