• The written test will be used to select candidates for the Scientist – ‘B’ and Scientific/Technical Assistant – ‘A’ positions.
• The final selection of candidates for the position of Scientist –’B’ will be based on the following criteria.

• The weighting of marks for the written exam and the interview will be 85:15. 
• The final decision for the position of Scientific/Technical Assistant – ‘A’ will be based on the written exam results only.

• The NIELIT 2021 Admit Card can be downloaded from the Applicant Log in Page.

• Take a printout of the NIELIT 2021 admit card for the written examination.

Exam Day Guidelines & Documents To Carry in NIELIT Exam

Candidates appearing for NIELIT 2021 Exam should check out the following guidelines. Below mentioned documents are required to appear in the NIELIT 2021 Exam.

• Please bring a printout of this Admit Card as well as the completed Self-Declaration (Undertaking) to the Examination Center.
• Candidates must bring their original government-issued photo identity evidence to the examination; else, they will be denied entry. Voter ID cards, passports, PAN cards, driving licences, Aadhar cards, bank passbooks with photos, and any other government-issued picture ID cards are all acceptable photo ID proofs.
• For the examination, the candidate should carry two blue/black ballpoint pens.
• Candidates must mark their answers in the OMR Answer Sheet with a ball tip pen only, darkening the circle.
• In case that the photograph printed on the admission card is not clearly visible, the candidate should put one passport-size photograph on the admit card and bring one separate stamp-size photograph to the invigilator to be pasted on the Attendance Sheet.
• Before entering the room, the candidate must put on a suitable/standard mask that covers his or her nose and mouth completely. Continue to wear it until he or she exits the Examination Centre. Candidates will, however, be required to remove their masks in order to be identified.
