NIACL AO 2021 Selection Process-
The NIACL AO 2021 Selection Proces has 3 phases as follows-
- Preliminary Examination
- Mains Examination
- Interview
NIACL AO 2021 Prelims Exam Pattern
A preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. The questions will come from the English, Reasoning, and Numerical/Quantitative Aptitude portions of the NIACAL Preliminary Exam. There will be a 20-minute segment timer for each section. There will be 100 multiple-choice questions, each worth one mark. For each wrong answer, one-fourth of a point will be deducted.

Note: Candidates have to qualify for each test/section by securing passing marks to be decided by the Company. The adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by the Company (approximately 15 times the numbers of vacancies subject to availability) will be shortlisted for the Main Examination.
NIACL AO 2021 Mains Exam Pattern
Main Examination will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Tests for 30 marks. Both the Objective and Descriptive Tests will be online. The NIACL AO Mains Exam is separated into two sections: objective and descriptive, and each section must be passed separately. The objective type paper will last 2 hours, while the descriptive paper will last 30 minutes. There will be 200 multiple-choice questions and two essays or letters to write. The descriptive test will only be administered in English. For each wrong answer, one-fourth of a point will be deducted.

Descriptive Test:
The Descriptive Test of 30 minutes duration with 30 marks will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing-10 marks & Essay-20 marks). The descriptive test will be in English and will be conducted online mode.

NIACL AO 2021 Interview Round
Candidates who get shortlisted at the end of Phase II will be invited for an interview round which is a part of the selection process. Interviews will be held in various centres. The weighting (ratio) of the online exam and the interviews will be 75:25.
Important Note: In the call letter, the shortlisted candidates will be told of the centre, address of the venue, time, and date of the interview. Candidates must obtain their interview invitations from the company's website. Please note that any requests for changes to the interview date, location, or time will be denied.
What is Next After NIACL AO 2021 Interview?
The results of the main examination (objective test) and the interview will be used to make the final decision. The final merit list will be compiled in descending order of the candidates' aggregated marks. Candidates on the merit list who fall within the number of openings will be considered for appointment.
The Management reserves the right to appoint qualified candidates in more than one batch. The appointment of selected candidates is contingent on their being declared medically fit as per the Company's requirements. Such an appointment will also be subject to the Company's service and conduct regulations.
