Fixed Stipend for Cadet Training:- 

Army Officers and equivalent ranks in Air Force and Navy 

Stipend to Gentlemen Cadets during the entire duration of training in Service Academies i.e. during the training period at IMA. Rs 56,100/- p.m.* (Starting pay in Level 10)

A. Details of MSP (Military Service Pay)

  • Officers in the rank of Lieutenant to Brigadier are also entitled to a Military Service Pay(MSP) of Rs. 15.500 p.m. (fixed).

B. Flying Allowance: 

  • The Army Aviators (Pilots) serving in the Army Aviation Corps are entitled to flying allowance at Rs 25,000/- p.m.

Dearness Allowance  

Admissible at the same rates and under the same conditions as are applicable to the civilian personnel 38 from time to time

  • A stipend is given to Gentlemen Cadets during the entire duration of training in Service Academies i.e. during the training period at IMA is Rs 56,100. On successful commissioning in NDA, the pay in the Pay Matrix of the Officer commissioned will be fixed in the first Cell of Level 10.

  • An NDA cadet can be promoted to the level of Chief of Defence Staff (CDS).

  • The In-hand salary for NDA graduates will include Basic Pay and various allowances. After the training, the candidates will be eligible for a salary with the pay scale of Rs.56,100/- to Rs.1,77, 500/-.
