The Indian Army has launched the Army Agniveer selection process to choose the perfect and deserving candidates eligible to join the Indian Army. This procedure will consist of Rally, Medical verification and CEE. The Rally comes under the first round, whereas medical verification and CEE will be included in the second and third rounds.

Stages of Army Agniveer Selection Process
The important phases are listed under the Army Agniveer selection process 2022. All the candidates should practice thoroughly for all three rounds. Aspirants should be physically strong to clear the first phase and well prepared for the common entrance exam at the final stage.
Clearing all three phases will give a chance to young Agniveers to enter the Indian Army. After qualifying these rounds, candidates must present their original documents for verification. The selected students’ names will finally be available on the merit list.
Indian Army Agniveer Selection Process: Physical Test
The first phase of the Agneepath Army selection process is known as Rally. This round is conducted to check the physical stability of candidates in terms of joining the Army.
There are few physical standards for the Agneepath army selection process for Rally. As a part of the physical fitness test, students need to perform a 1.6 Km Run and do pull-ups for the defined time frame as mentioned in the table below.

Agneepath Army Selection Process Medical Verification
Aspirants must report to the designated Military Hospital within 5 days of referral. As per the policy, a review of this medical exam is conducted within 14 days by the Military Hospital. The Indian Army generally performs the below set of medical tests.
- Urine (Urinary Routine & Microscopic Examination)
- Tests for Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Abuse.
- Uric acid, Creatinine, Urea
- Serum Cholesterol
- Tests for other live enzymes like SGOT, SGPT, & LFT- Serum Bilirubin
- Blood Haemogram – Hb, TLC, DLC
- Biochemistry
- X-Ray chest (PA view)
- Tests for checking heart’s rhythm using ECG (R)
- Any other test necessary in the opinion of the Medical Officer
- Blood Sugar Fasting & Postprandial (after a meal test)
Agneepath Army Selection Process For CEE
The last part of the Agniveer Army selection process is the common entrance exam, abbreviated as CEE. The students eligible for this round are those who have cleared the medical examination and are considered to have been physically fit. The details for the written exam for different positions are elaborated on below.
Soldier Clerk:
- Candidates appearing for the soldier clerk position will receive 4 marks for every right answer.
- A negative marking of 0.5 is also present for every incorrect answer.

Soldier GD & Tradesman:
- Students opting for the soldier, GD and tradesman positions, will have to give examinations in the offline mode, i.e., OMR sheet.
- For every right answer, applicants get rewarded with 2 marks.
- Any incorrect answer will lead to 0.5 marks of negative marking.
