The Indian Air force or IAF has specified the Agneepath Airforce age limit criteria which have to be between 17 to 21 years. But to motivate more candidates to join the Air force services, the age relaxation of 2 years has been provided exclusively for the 01/2022 batch.

Cleared with Physics, English (50% marks), and Mathematics, from Board of education, listed as COBSE member with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. 

Cleared with any subject authorized by State or central Boards with a minimum of 50% marks on average and 50% marks in English.

Diploma Course:

- Opted 3 years of Diploma Course in Engineering: [ Electrical, Instrumentation Technology, Information Technology, Electronics, Automobile, Mechanical, Computer Science ] with 50% marks from a Government technical institute.


- 50% marks in English & in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course.

No criteria as such.

Vocational Course:

- Cleared two years of Vocational Course with subjects like Physics and Maths listed in Council of Boards of School Education with 50% marks.


- 50% marks in English in the vocational course (or during enrolment in college or university/Intermediate, if English is not a subject).

- Cleared vocational course from Education Boards with a minimum of 50% marks.


- 50% marks in English in the vocational or Intermediate/registered courses if English is not a subject in Vocational Course.

A young student who desires to become an Agniveer should be either a citizen of India or Nepal. It is one of the most significant Indian Air Force Agneepath eligibility 2022 and should strictly be fulfilled.

Agneepath Air Force Eligibility - Maximum Attempts

As of 2022, the Indian Air force has not set any limit for the number of times you can appear for the examination.
