NDA 2 2022 Notification: Important Dates
NDA Exam is conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission for Selection in Indian Armed Forces namely Indian Army, Indian Navy & Indian Air Force. Candidates can check the NDA official notification release date, last date to apply, exam date, etc in the following table. NDA 2 2022 exam is scheduled to be conducted on 08th September 2022.

UPSC has release a total of 400 NDA vacancies for Male and Female candidates for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA 150th Course and Indian Naval Academy 112th Course (INAC) commencing from 2nd July, 2023. .

NDA 2 2022 Application Fees
General and OBC category candidates have to submit the application fees of INR 100 while Women, SC, and ST candidates are exempted from fee payment. The application fee can be paid both online and offline mode.

NDA 2 2022 Age Criteria Eligibility
According to the official notification of UPSC NDA only unmarried male and female aspirants aged between 16.5 - 19.5 are eligible to apply. Candidates must not born earlier than 02nd January 2004 and not later than 1st January 2007 to be eligible for NDA 2 2022 exam.

Educational Qualification for NDA 2 2022 exam
The NDA 2 2022 educational qualification required for male & female candidates for the Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force & Indian Naval Academy are provided in the following table. Candidates who are studying or passed the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination are eligible to apply for the NDA 2 2022 examination.

Note:
- Students who are studying in 12th class can apply for the NDA 2 2022 exam.
- Students who are studying in class 11th are not eligible for the NDA examination.
NDA 2 2022 Exam Eligibility: Marital Status
- Unmarried male & female candidates are eligible for the NDA 2 2022 examination
- Candidates who are applying for NDA exam should not marry until completion of training in the academy.
Physical Standards & Medical Standards for NDA 2 2022
Physical fitness is an important criterion for male & female candidates to apply for the NDA 2 2022 exam. Candidates must be physically fit according to the standards of NDA.
Note: Physical & Medical Standards for female candidates will be updated in NDA 2 2022 notification.
Minimum Height for NDA 2 2022 exam
- According to the official notification the minimum height for male candidates is 157 cms & 152 cms for female candidates ( Note for the Indian Air Force flying branch it is 163 cms).
- Certain exceptions are provided to the candidates in physical standards based on their region.
Visual Standards for NDA 2 2022 exam
- The distance vision (corrected) should be 6/6 in the better eye and 6/9 in the worse eye
- In case of Myopia- more than 2.5 D is not permitted
- In case of Hypermetropia: more than 3.5 D including astigmatism is not permitted

NDA 2 Selection Process 2022
NDA Exam is conducted by the UPSC and considered as one of the most challenging competitive exams in the country. Candidates have to clear multiple stages to assure their place in the National Defence Academy. Following are the steps to clear the entire process of NDA exam.

NDA 2 Exam Pattern 2022
There are two papers as per NDA exam pattern which are conducted in two shifts. Two and a half-hour is given for each paper. In the following table we are sharing all the details.
