National Testing Agency (NTA) released the date of the NCHMCT JEE 2022 exam is going to be conducted in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode on 18.06.2022(Saturday) (10.00 AM to 01.00 PM)

Through this exam, admission is offered into 3 years B.Sc. Hospitality & Hotel Administration course at the Institutes of Hotel Management (IHM) affiliated to the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHM&CT) for the Academic Year 2022-23.

NCHMCT JEE Eligibility 2022 for Admission

The NCHMCT JEE Eligibility Criteria for the hotel management aspirants has been prescribed by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Before filling up the application form, it is crucial for candidates to go through the NCHMCT JEE eligibility criteria in detail to avoid last-minute disqualification 

The candidates need to meet the NCHMCT JEE age limit and the specified academic qualifications as per the NCHMCT JEE 2021 eligibility criteria. There are also parameters for physical fitness that candidates must meet as it is included in the eligibility criteria. If the students fail to fulfill the eligibility criteria, they won't be allowed to appear again in the exam.

NCHMCT JEE Age Limit

Candidates must check the NCHMCT JEE Age Limit criteria for the exam as per different categories. Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/Pre-University Certificate will be the credible confirmation that will be acknowledged. 

At the hour of counseling, this authentication must be delivered to verify the age, bombing which the applicant won't be considered for Counseling/Affirmation.

For Physically Challenged candidates, the upper age limit criteria are as per the category he/she belongs to i.e. General/EWS/SC/ST/OBC. 

  • The proposal of admission is dependent upon confirmation of unique authentications/records at the hour of admission. 

  • On the off chance that any applicant is discovered ineligible sometime in the future even after admission to an Institute, his/her admission will stand dropped.

Detailed NCHMCT JEE Exam Pattern

As per the NCHMCT JEE Paper Pattern, English language, reasoning, and logical deduction, numerical ability and analytical aptitude, general knowledge and current affairs and aptitude for service sector are the five sections in the exam paper. All the questions are available in both English and Hindi language, except the English Language section making the paper bilingual.

Steps to fill NCHMCT JEE 2022 Application form

NCHM JEE application form has to be filled in online mode. The steps that are listed below need to be followed while filling out the application form of NCHMCT JEE 2022:

  • Registration
  • Fill NCHMCT JEE 2022 application form
  • Upload your Recent Photograph and Signature
  • Payment

Step 1Click on the official website of NCHMCT JEE and generate a user id and password by registering yourself. For this, Candidates must have i) a valid mobile number and a valid email address. Register for an online application form and note down the system generated application number.

Step 2- Login by using the application number and password and then start filling NCHMCT JEE 2022 application form. The candidate should supply the details while filling out the online Application Form and is also required to create a password and choose a security question and enter his/her answer.

After successful submission of the personal details, an application number will be generated and it will be used to complete the remaining steps of the application form and will also be required for all future correspondence. Complete the application form which will include the following information:

  • Personal details

Candidates need to disclose information like Place of residence, Category, Person with disability Status, Nationality, Place of class 12th / Qualifying Examination Board, Compulsory subjects in Class 12th.

  • Examination Details

Candidates are required to fill the Choice of examination center. They can select at least four cities from the list of NCHM JEE exam centers in 2022.

  • Academic Qualification Details

Students have to enter details related to 10th or equivalent and 12th or equivalent from the drop-down menu in the application form of NCHMCT JEE 2022, Pass status, Name of the examination, Name of Board/University, Year of passing/appearing, Marks details, etc.

  • Security Pin

Enter the security pin and click on the 'Submit' button. Next, candidates will receive a pop-up message where they will be asked to review and tick against the information given below. If they need to modify any information, they can do so by clicking on ' Edit Application Form Data,' or clicking on the 'Final Submit' button for final submission.

Tick against 'I Agree' and then click on the 'Final Submit' button. Students again get a message 'Do you wish to Submit the Application form finally? Press 'Yes' to submit the application form.

Step 3- Upload your Recent Photograph and Signature

Complete the Online Application Form and note down the system-generated Application Number.

Step 5For future reference, candidates are required to retain the documents such as

  • four printouts of the Confirmation Page of Online Application Form,
  • Proof of fee paid.
  • Photographs (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form)
  • The name on the photo identification must match the name as shown on the Admit Card.
  • If the name has been changed due to events such as marriage, the candidate must show the relevant document at the time of the exam. Marriage Certificate / Divorce / Decree / Legal Name Change Document.

NCHMCT JEE Syllabus: Aptitude for Service Sector

The Aptitude for Service Sector has 50 Questions. For this section, Situation based questions will require the presence of mind and will check the IQ: Intelligence Quotient, EQ: Emotional Quotient, and SQ: Social Quotient. 

For example, the scenario will be like, a colleague of you is not answering your queries and is reluctant in attending the meeting that what would you do, this question will follow 4 options and you have to select the best possible answer as per the situation. The questions will test the temperament of candidates which is a very essential requirement in the hospitality sector.

Important to Know

  • Candidates are not required to visit any exam Centre for appearing in the exam. They can appear in the exam, from their location, on a Personal Computer (fitted with a camera) or laptop with stable internet connectivity.
  • Other details regarding the hardware/software specifications, how to appear in the exam, Do’s and Don’ts, mock test, etc will be communicated to each candidate individually, through their registered email. Candidates are advised to keep checking their mail regularly.
