NCC Special Entry Eligibility Criteria 2021 explained for both male and female candidates along with the age limit & qualification requirement.
In this post, we are covering NCC Special Entry eligibility criteria (CDS 2 exam) for the recruitment of candidates under OTA. Check the age criteria, educational qualification, and other requirements of the eligibility details, which a candidate must fulfill in order to apply for NCC Special Entry.
Educational Qualification for NCC Special Entry:
1. For NCC 'C' Certificate Holders:
Holders of an NCC 'C' Certificate must have a bachelor's degree from a recognized university or an equivalent, with an overall average of at least 50%. Students in their final year of study are also eligible to apply if they have received a minimum of 50% aggregate in the first two/three years of a three/four-year degree program, respectively.
2. Service in the NCC:
Must have worked in the senior Division/Wing of the NCC for a minimum of three years (from 22 February 2013 to the present) or two years (from 23 May 2008 to 21 February 2013).
3. Grading:
Must have received a minimum of a "B" on the NCC's "C" Certificate Exam. Applicants who do not have an NCC ‘C' certificate at the time of application are ineligible for the course.
NCC Special Entry Eligibility Criteria For Wards of Battle Casualties of the Army Personnel
Wards of Battle Casualties slots are available to the wards (unmarried sons & daughters, including lawfully adopted) of the Battle Casualties who meet the following criteria:
- Killed on the battlefield.
- Wounds/injuries caused death (Other than the self-inflicted).
- Injured or Wounded (Other than the self-inflicted).
- Missing.
1. Educational Qualification for NCC Special Entry:
Degree from the recognized university or equivalent, with an overall avg. of at least 50 percent, taking all the years' marks into account.
- Wards of Battle Casualties do not need an NCC 'C' certificate.
2. Nationality for NCC Special Entry
- An aspirant must be one of the following: I an Indian citizen, (ii) a Nepalese subject, or (iii) an Indian national who has migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, and the East African countries of Uganda, Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Zaire, and Ethiopia, as well as Vietnam, with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that an aspirant belonging to categories (ii) & (iii) has migrated aspirants who are Nepalese Gorkha subjects, on the other hand, will not require a certificate of eligibility.
Age Limit
Aspirants for the National Civilian Corps (NCC) who are 19-25 years old as of 1st July 2021 (including Wards of Battle Casualties) (born not earlier than 02nd July 1996 and not later than 01st Jul 2002; both the dates inclusive).
Note 1: Aspirants should be aware that the date of birth as mention on the Matriculation or Secondary School Examination Certificate or an equivalent certificate on the date of application submission will be the only date of birth considered or awarded.
Note 2: Aspirants should be aware that they can only attend one of the SSB (Services Selection Board) interviews: SSC (NT)-114 Course (October 2021) or SSC (NT) (Women)-28 Course (October 2021) as a CDSE candidate OR NCC (Spl) Entry-50 Course (October 2021) as a CDSE candidate (October 2021). In the declaration portion of the online application, aspirants must state that they agree to this.
