The last Nawab of Bengal was Mansur Ali Khan He ruled Bengal from 1838 to 1881. The last nawab was succeeded by Hassan Ali Mirza who was his eldest son. Hassan Ali Mirza was the first Nawab of Murshidabad. Murshid Quli Khan was the first Nawab of Bengal who ruled from 1706 to 1727.
