    Students appearing for GATE 2023 and GATE 2024 are eligible for BEST 2022.

  • How much is the registration fee for BEST 2022 exam?

    The registration is completely FREE.

  • What is the test pattern and syllabus of BEST 2022?

    10 Questions of Aptitude and 5 questions of Engineering Mathematics and 10 Questions of Technical Portion. 2 marks for every correct answer and -0.66 for every wrong answer. All questions will be MCQ type questions. Duration of test is 1 hr.

  • How do I select BEST slot?

    There is only one slot available. Timings of the exam is 11 AM to 12 PM

  • Can two people register for BEST through same phone no?

    You can register from two different phone nos on BYJU'S Exam Prep and appear for the exam.

  • Where and how will I be able to attempt BEST 2022?

    BEST 2022 is completely Online. You can attempt it in the defined slot by logging in to BYJU'S Exam Prep app or website.

  • What if I get late due to some reason in starting the test?

    It is important to start the test on time, and we highly encourage everyone to start the test in their chosen slot. However due to some unforeseen situation, if you are unable to start the test, you will be given a grace time of 30 mins in your slot.

  • I am an existing BYJU'S Exam Prep student. Will I be eligible for the BEST scholarship?

    Yes, you are eligible for the scholarship only for new courses. If you perform well in the test and score the marks required for the BEST scholarship, you will get a scholarship for new courses.

  • I have given BEST in earlier months, am I eligible to attempt it again?

    Yes, you can attempt it again.

  • What if I am not able to login on time?

    The link to start the test will remain active for 60 mins post the scheduled start time. please login within this window to avail the full test duration for attempting the test. In case of disconnection due to internet problems and power failure. the test will resume from where you left.

    BEST can be taken on any Laptop, Desktop, Mobile Phone or Tablet. For the best user experience, we recommend an updated Chrome browser.
