• The Sub-Inspector of Police Limited Departmental Pre-Competitive Examination- 2022 will be conducted by the Maharashtra Public Service Commission on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at 7 district centers in Maharashtra, including Mumbai, for recruitment to a total of 250 posts as mentioned in the notification in the Cadre of Sub-Inspectors of Police in the Maharashtra State Police Force.
• महाराष्ट्र लोकसेवा आयोगातर्फे महाराष्ट्र लोकसेवा आयोगातर्फे महाराष्ट्र राज्य पोलिस दलातील पोलिस उपनिरीक्षक संवर्गातील अधिसूचनेत नमूद केल्याप्रमाणे एकूण २५० पदांच्या भरतीसाठी महाराष्ट्र लोकसेवा आयोगातर्फे शनिवार दिनांक १६ एप्रिल २०२२ रोजी मुंबईसह महाराष्ट्रातील ७ जिल्हा केंद्रांवर पोलिस उपनिरीक्षक मर्यादित विभागीय स्पर्धापूर्व परीक्षा- २०२२ घेण्यात येणार आहे.

• The MPSC has published a total vacancy of 250 PSI Departmental posts in the state police department.
• एमपीएससीने राज्य पोलिस विभागात पीएसआय विभागीय पदांच्या एकूण २५० रिक्त जागा प्रकाशित केल्या आहेत.

Note: Based on the judgment dated 04th August 2017 passed by the High Court, Mumbai in petition No. 2797/2015, these posts will be filled on merit and not as per category-wise reservation.

Applicants are required to check the minimum qualification set by MPSC for MPSC PSI Departmental Recruitment 2022:

• Only the staff of the cadre of Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police, Police Havildar, Police Naik, and Police Sepoy, currently working under the Home Department of the Government of Maharashtra, will be eligible for the presented examination.
• सध्या महाराष्ट्र शासनाच्या गृह विभागांतर्गत कार्यरत असलेले सहाय्यक पोलीस उपनिरीक्षक, पोलीस हवालदार, पोलीस नाईक, पोलीस शिपाई या संवर्गातील कर्मचारीच प्रस्तुत परीक्षेसाठी पात्र असतील.
