MPSC Prelims Exam Preparation Strategy 2021
Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) State Service Preliminary Examination is going to be conducted on 21 March 2021. The MPSC Prelims Exam 2021 will be conducted in two shifts of two hour each. Both the papers will be of objective nature.
As the MPSC Prelims 2021 exam is just two days away so the main focus of the students should be to keep their head cool and do light revision. So here are a few suggestions for candidates appearing for MPSC CCE Prelims 2021 exam on Sunday, 21 March.
- Remain positive:
Negative thinking must be completely avoided. The prelims exam is a game of how calmly you can understand and analyse the different options. Overthinking will just make you frustrated, so Be Positive and don't think about what will happen if you don't get in, but only of how you will deal with those 4 hours.
- Avoid studying for at least one or two days before the exam:
spend this time with your family and do some creative stuff that does not stress you out. Do not read any new study material or notes, Even if you feel you have not done enough, this is not the time to go look for fresh material as it will just confuse you and hamper your chances of success.
- Keep yourself fit:
Physical health leads to better mental performance. To improve the analytical skills that you need in the exam meditate or do yoga whichever you are comfortable with.
- Keep your mind calm: Repeated yet again, this is the key to your success in the exam.
- DO NOT attempt any new mock test:
In the last two days before the exam, the candidates are MUST NOT invest time in solving mock tests. A bad performance in these tests may demoralise you and affect your performance in the actual exam.
- Check-in on your exam centre:
Every candidate must know the address and the way of reaching the exam centre, in the morning it may get confusing and contrary to what we believe, Google Maps sometimes has the wrong location listed on the maps. So double-check the address a day before.
- Eat healthy food:
Candidates are advised to pack in their lunch for the day of the exam instead of eating Street food which may make you sick as well as sleepy. Have Light food from two days before the exam, Eat fruits or homemade food only.
- Get enough sleep:
Late night study before the exam fay is not advised. Proper 7-8 hour sleep must be taken. It is crucial for your good performance the next day in the exam.
- Keep things handy:
Take 2 printouts of your admit card, good quality blue/black ballpoint pens, hand sanitiser, face mask, a valid identity proof (like driving license, Aadhar card, PAN card, etc), and 2 passport size photographs to the examination hall. Maintain social distancing, Keep yourself and others safe in these trying times.
