MPSC (Maharashtra Public Service Commission) organized MPSC Exam on 21 August 2022. This exam was conducted for 501 vacancies. MPSC Prelims Exam Analysis 2022: Section-wise Review

Candidates who appeared in the MPSC prelims 2022 exam can check section wise review:

GS Paper 1

• The overall pattern of questions in General Studies Paper 1 was medium class. This time there were around 20 questions on General Science. Also, a lot (17 questions) was asked on the subject of Indian polity. Only general science questions were relatively difficult; all other questions were of easy difficulty level.
• The commission had asked questions on the current affairs component from 2021 to March 2022.
• A total of four questions were asked in History, two each on Ancient and Medieval. Questions on the History of Modern India component were a bit difficult at this time. A few questions were FACTUAL at this time on Indian polity, such as the Article Amendment. But overall, the questions on this subject were easy. Two questions were also asked on this subject in the Section of Current Affairs and Economy.

CSAT Paper 2

• The overall format of the CSAT paper was in the ‘Medium’ category. This time CSAT was Qualifying for the first time, but the paper was easy to qualify.
• Bilingual passages were asked very easily. That is, the questions could be solved from the passages as they were; only the passages in Marathi and English language were in difficult form.
• At this time Reasoning questions were the most focused so that you will see Reasonings questions with very long sentences in this paper.

3. 5 children are collecting flowers in the garden for making 5 garlands using 25 flowers each. They decided that at the end of the collecting time, they are going to ensure that they all have equal number of flowers. Four of them are only 2 short of making their garland as was decided and the youngest child was not able to collect the required number of flowers. So each of the others gave 3 flowers from their collection in order to equalise the number of flowers.
4. A bag contains 3 white, 2 blue and 5 red balls. One ball is drawn at random from the bag. What is the probability that the ball drawn is not red?
5. Sanvi was born on 28 February, 2018. Then on which day will her 22nd birthday come?
6. A and B can complete a work in 15 days and 10 days respectively. They started doing the work together, but after 2 days B had to leave and A alone completed the remaining work. In how many days was the work completed?
7. All 36 pupils of the Zilla Parishad School planted in all 48 plants, a mixture of jambhul and chiku varieties, in their locality. Every boy planted three jambhul varieties and the each group of two girls planted one chiku variety between them. Select the statement that is not true with respect to the above information.
