MPSC Group C 2022 Revised Examination Pattern

• Revised Examination of Maharashtra Group-C Service Examination has been published on the website of the MPSC Commission.
• The candidates need to understand the new examination pattern of the MPSC Group C exam given in this article before preparing.
• The MPSC Commission has recently added two more posts in the MPSC Group C examination in addition to the previous three posts, which means that the MPSC Group C examination will now be conducted for a total of five posts.

MPSC Group C 2022 Post Name

The MPSC Group C examination is conducted for the following posts:

1. Clerk Typist
2.  Excise Sales Inspector
3.  Assistant Sales Tax Inspector
4.  Technical Assistant (Directorate of Insurance)- Newly Added
5. Industry Inspector (Directorate of Industries)- Newly Added

MPSC Group C 2022 Exam Overview

The following table gives the information about the MPSC Group C overview 2022:

MPSC Group C 2022 Selection Process

• A single joint/combined pre-examination will be conducted for all five posts in the MPSC Group C examination 2022.
• Separate results for all five posts will be declared after the pre-examination for candidates eligible for the main examination.
• After that, a separate examination will be conducted for the respective posts.
• The MPSC Commission will publish the final merit list based on the marks obtained in the main examination.

Stages of Examination:

The MPSC Group C 2022 will be conducted on two stages, namely:

1. Prelims Exam
2. Mains Exam
3. Typing Test (Only for Clerk-Typist post)

MPSC Group C 2022 Prelims Exam Pattern

The MPSC Group C 2022 prelims examination is conducted for all five posts. There is only one paper in the prelims exam of 100 marks with 60 minutes time duration.

MPSC Group C 2022 Mains Exam Pattern

• The MPSC Group C mains 2022 examination is conducted separately for each post.
• Paper No. 1 in MPSC Group-C Main Examination will be the same for each post, and paper No. 2 will be taken separately according to the syllabus of each post.

MPSC Group C 2022: Age Limit & Age Relaxation

• The age limit for the Technical Assistant post is 18-38 years. 
• The age limit for the Industry Inspector post is 19-38 years.

MPSC Group C 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Degree from an accredited university or equivalent of a degree equivalent by the Government of Maharashtra for other categories except for Industry Inspector, Group-C.

The educational qualification for Industry Inspector, Group-C category will be as under:

1. Degree in Engineering from a statutory university (excluding subjects related to architectural engineering as well as groups of subjects in architectural engineering, town planning, etc.) or a degree in technology or
2. Degree of Statutory University in the field of Science.

MPSC Group C 2022 Physical Qualifications

Applicants who have been chosen for the post of Deputy Inspector must have the following minimum physical qualifications along with the above educational qualifications:

Men

• Height at least 165 cm. I (Barefoot) (at least)
• Chest at least 79 cm. And inflate to 5 cm. More

Women

• Height at least 155 cm. (Barefoot) (at least)
• Weight at least 50 kg

MPSC Group C 2022 Typing Test

For the Tax Assistant and Clerk-Typist category, along with the above educational qualification, the following typing qualification is required:

For Tax Assistant Post 

• Marathi: 30 WPM
• English: 40 WPM

For Clerk-Typist

• Marathi: 30 WPM
• English: 40 WPM

MPSC Group C 2022 Maximum Attempts

Candidates appearing in the MPSC Group C examinations 2022 conducted by the Commission have been given a maximum of opportunity as follows:

• OBC: 9 Attempts
• SC & ST: No Limit
• General: 6 Attempts

MPSC Group C 2022 Salary Structure

The MPSC Group C post wise salary structure is given below:

1. Clerk Typist - (19900-63200 Rupees)
2. Excise Sales Inspector - (32000-101600 Rupees)
3. Assistant Sales Tax Inspector - (25500-81100 Rupees)
4. Technical Assistant - (29200-92300 Rupees)
5. Industry Inspector - (35400-112400 Rupees)

MPSC Group C 2022 Examination Fee

The fees charged by the Commission for the MPSC Group C 2022 recruitment are as follow:

MPSC Group C 2022 Prelims Exam:

• Non-Backword: 394 Rupees
• Backword: 294 394 Rupees

MPSC Group C 2022 Mains Exam:

• Non-Backword: 544 Rupees
• Backword: 294 344 Rupees

MPSC Group C 2022 Minimum Percentile Marks

Candidates who get the lowest marks out of the total marks of the candidates who get the highest marks in the present examination will be eligible for recommendation as under:

(1) Non-Backward - At least 35 percent

(2) Backward Classes - At least 30 percent

(3) Divyang - At least 20 percent

(4) High-quality eligible players - At least 20 percent

(5) Ex-servicemen - At least 20 percent

(6) Orphans - At least 30 percent
