Decision of the Armed Forces to include women in the NDA/महिलांना ‘एनडीए’त सामावून घेण्याचा सशस्त्र दलांचा निर्णय

• Armed Forces had decided to include women in the National Defense Academy (NDA).
• The decision to give women permanent commissions in the defence forces through the NDA has been taken at the highest levels in the armed forces, as well as in the government.
• Eligible and aspiring women candidates are denied access to the prestigious National Defense Academy on the basis of gender only and this violates their fundamental right to equality.

• महिलांना राष्ट्रीय संरक्षण प्रबोधिनीत (एनडीए) सामावून घेण्याचा निर्णय सशस्त्र दलांनी घेतला असल्याची माहिती केंद्र सरकारने बुधवारी सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाला दिली.
• महिलांना एनडीएच्या मार्गाने संरक्षण दलांमध्ये कायमस्वरूपी कमिशन दिले जाईल असा निर्णय सशस्त्र दलांमध्ये, तसेच सरकारमध्ये सर्वोच्च पातळीवर घेण्यात आला आहे.
• तर असे केंद्र सरकारची बाजू मांडणाऱ्या अतिरिक्त सॉलिसिटर जनरल ऐश्वर्या भारती यांनी न्या. एस.के. कौल व न्या. एम.एम. सुंदरेश यांच्या खंडपीठाला सांगितले.
• न्यायालयाने संरक्षण दलांना लिंग समानतेबाबत सक्रिय दृष्टिकोन बाळगण्याचे निर्देश देण्याऐवजी त्यांनी स्वत:च तसे केलेले आम्हाला आवडेल, असे न्यायालयाने सांगितले.
• पात्र व इच्छुक महिला उमेदवारांना प्रतिष्ठित अशा राष्ट्रीय संरक्षण प्रबोधिनीत केवळ लिंगाच्या आधारावर प्रवेशापासून वंचित ठेवले जाते व यामुळे त्यांच्या समानतेच्या मूलभूत अधिकाराचे उल्लंघन होते, याकडे लक्ष वेधणारी याचिका अ‍ॅड. कुश कालरा यांनी केली असून, ती सर्वोच्च न्यायालयापुढे सुनावणीला आहे.

Indian Air Force to get new cargo planes/भारतीय वायू दलाला मिळणार नवी मालवाहू विमाने

• Indian Air Force to get the cargo aircraft.
• The Cabinet Safety Committee recommended to procure a total of 56 C-295 cargo aircraft with a carrying capacity of 4 to 10 tonnes.
• The HS 748 Avro cargo aircraft currently in the Indian Air Force will be replaced by the C-295 cargo aircraft.
• The cargo planes will be used to transport essential supplies for paratroopers and the military.
• Airbus' Airbus Defense and Space and Tata's Tata Advance Systems Limited will jointly manufacture C-295 cargo aircraft in India.
• C-295 cargo aircraft have been operating in the air forces of 15 countries since 2001.
• These cargo planes have the capacity to carry a weight of up to 10 tons and up to 2000 kilometers in one go.
• The inclusion of these state-of-the-art cargo aircraft in the world will add value to the strength of the Indian Air Force.

• भारतीय वायू दलाला आवश्यक असलेली मालवाहू विमाने मिळण्याचा मार्ग अखेर मोकळा झाला आहे.
• 4 ते 10 टन पर्यंतचे वजन वाहून नेण्याची क्षमता असलेली एकूण 56 C – 295 मालवाहू विमाने घेण्याचा अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण निर्णय आज मंत्रिमंडळ सुरक्षा समितीच्या बैठकीत घेण्यात आला.
• तर सध्या भारतीय वायू दलात असलेल्या, जुन्या तंत्रज्ञानाच्या HS 748 Avro या मालवाहू विमानांची जागा C-295 ही मालवाहू विमाने घेतील. पॅराट्रुपर्स आणि सैन्य दलासाठी आवश्यक सामानाची वाहतूक करण्याकरता या मालवाहू विमानांचा उपयोग होणार आहे.
• एअरबस कंपनीची ‘एअरबस डिफेन्स अँड स्पेस’ आणि टाटाची ‘ टाटा ऍडव्हान्स सिस्टीम लिमिटेड’ हे संयुक्तरित्या भारतात C – 295 या मालवाहू विमानांची निर्मिती करणार आहेत.
• तसेच यासाठी दोन्ही कंपन्या आणि भारतीय वायू दल असा तिघांमध्ये करार होणार आहे. हा एकूण करार सुमारे अडीच अब्ज डॉलर्स एवढा असणार आहे.
• एअरबस कंपनीनचे तंत्रज्ञान असलेली C -295 जातीची मालवाहू विमाने ही जगातील 15 देशांच्या वायू दलात 2001 पासून कार्यरत आहेत.
• तर 10 टन पर्यतचे वजन एका दमांत 2000 किलोमीटर पर्यंत वाहून नेण्याची या मालवाहू विमानांची क्षमता आहे.
• जगातील अत्याधुनिक अशा या मालवाहू विमानांच्या समावेशामुळे भारतीय वायू दलाच्या ताकदीत मोलाची भर पडणार आहे.

Central Government's big gift to the employees of Central Autonomous Corporations/केंद्रीय स्वायत्त महामंडळांच्या कर्मचाऱ्यांना केंद्र सरकारची मोठी भेट

• The Union Government has decided to grant the employees of the Central Government and Central Autonomous Corporations.
• The dearness allowance of these employees has been increased by 25 per cent i.e., from 164 per cent of the basic salary to 189 per cent.
• Revised DA for these employees is applicable from 1st July.

• केंद्र सरकारने केंद्र सरकार आणि केंद्रीय स्वायत्त महामंडळांच्या कर्मचाऱ्यांना मोठी भेट दिली आहे.
• तर या कर्मचाऱ्यांच्या महागाई भत्ता म्हणजेच डीएमध्ये 25 टक्के वाढ करण्यात आली आहे.
• केंद्रीय स्वायत्त महामंडळांच्या कर्मचाऱ्यांना पाचव्या वेतन आयोग आणि सहाव्या वेतन आयोगाच्या शिफारशींनुसार वेतन दिले जाते.
• तसेच खर्च विभागाने दिलेल्या माहितीनुसार, महागाई भत्त्याचा सध्याचा दर मूळ वेतनाच्या 164 टक्क्यांवरून 189 टक्के करण्यात आला आहे.
• तर या कर्मचाऱ्यांसाठी सुधारित महागाई भत्ता 1 जुलै पासून लागू आहे. यासंदर्भात, अर्थ मंत्रालय, खर्च विभागाने कार्यालयीन मेमोरँडम (ओएम) देखील जारी केले आहे.

Formula 4 races in India/ भारतात फॉम्र्युला-4 शर्यतींचे आयोजन

• The International Automobile Federation has permitted to hold the Divisional Indian Championships and Formula-4 Indian Championships in the country.
• in February 2022, Divisional Championships will be held in

- New Delhi

- Chennai

- Coimbatore

- Hyderabad

• For the first time in the history of the world, the top licensing points of the International Automobile Federation will be earned for these world championships.
• Note: Only F3 vehicles that certified by the International Automobile Federation can participate in the races.

• विभागीय भारतीय अजिंक्यपद आणि फॉम्र्युला-4 भारतीय अजिंक्यपद शर्यती देशात आयोजित करण्यासाठी आंतरराष्ट्रीय ऑटोमोबाइल महासंघाने हिरवा कंदील दिला आहे.
• रेसिंग प्रमोशन्सतर्फे फेब्रुवारी 2022 मध्ये नवी दिल्ली, चेन्नई, कोईम्बतूर आणि हैदराबाद या शहरांत विभागीय अजिंक्यपद शर्यतींच्या आयोजनाची योजना आहे.
• आंतरराष्ट्रीय ऑटोमोबाइल महासंघाने प्रमाणित केलेल्या एफ 3 गाडय़ा या दोन्ही शर्यतींमध्ये सहभागी होऊ शकतील.
• तर या अजिंक्यपद शर्यतींद्वारे देशात प्रथमच आंतरराष्ट्रीय ऑटोमोबाइल महासंघाचे अव्वल परवाना गुण जागतिक अजिंक्यपदासाठी शर्यतपटूंना कमावता येतील.
• तसेच अरमान इब्राहिम, आदित्य पटेल या शर्यतपटूंसह माजी फॉम्र्युला-1 शर्यतपटू नरेन कार्तिकेयन आणि माजी क्रिकेटपटू कपिलदेव यांचाही मार्गदर्शक आणि सल्लागार मंडळामध्ये समावेश आहे.

Bharat Ratna to be set up in Pimpri Chinchwad Rajiv Gandhi Science Discovery City/पिंपरी चिंचवडमध्ये उभारणार भारतरत्न राजीव गांधी विज्ञान अविष्कार नगरी

• It has been decided to set up Bharat Ratna Rajiv Gandhi Science Discovery City in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation area.
• 88 acres of land is available in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation area for inculcating scientific attitude in the students and shaping future scientists.
• On the remaining 7 acres, the world-class Bharat Ratna Rajiv Gandhi Science Discovery City based on various concepts in science will be set up in the next five years.
• Under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme total expenditure of Rs. 191 crore is sanctioned.

• पिंपरी चिंचवड महानगरपालिका क्षेत्रात भारतरत्न राजीव गांधी विज्ञान अविष्कार नगरी उभारण्याचा निर्णय घेण्यात आला आहे.
• विद्यार्थ्यांमध्ये वैज्ञानिक दृष्टिकोन निर्माण करणे, भविष्यातील वैज्ञानिक घडविणे यासाठी पिंपरी चिंचवड महानगरपालिका क्षेत्रात 8 एकर जागा उपलब्ध असून त्यापैकी एक एकर जागेत यापूर्वी तेथे विभागीय पातळीचे विज्ञान केंद्र उभारण्यात आले आहे.
• तर उर्वरित 7 एकर क्षेत्रफळावर जागतिक दर्जाची, विज्ञानातील विविध संकल्पनांवर आधारित भारतरत्न राजीव गांधी विज्ञान अविष्कार नगरी पुढील पाच वर्षात उभारण्यात येईल.
• तसेच केंद्र पुरस्कृत योजनेंतर्गत यासाठी 191 कोटीच्या खर्चास मान्यता देण्यात आली.

Nine judges sworn-in the Supreme Court/सर्वोच्च न्यायालयात नऊ न्यायाधीशांचा शपथविधी

• Nine newly appointed judges of the Supreme Court were sworn in 7^th Sep 2021.
• The number of judges in this court is 33.
• For the first time in the history of the country, nine judges were sworn in at the same time.
• Chief Justice N. V. Raman administered the oath of office to him.
• Nine judges were sworn in at the Supreme Court. Abhay Srinivasa Oak, Justice. Vikram Nath, Justice. Jitendra Kumar, Justice. Maheshwari, Justice. Hima Kohli and Justice. BV Nagaratna.
• T. Ravi Kumar, Justice. M. M. Sundaresh, Justice. Bella M. Trivedi, Justice. P. S. Narasimha was also sworn in.

• सर्वोच्च न्यायालयात नव्याने नियुक्त करण्यात आलेल्यानऊ न्यायाधीशांना मंगळवारी झालेल्या सोहळ्यात या पदाची शपथ देण्यात आली.
• तर त्यामुळे आता या न्यायालयातील न्यायाधीशांची संख्या33 झाली आहे.
• देशाच्या इतिहासातप्रथमच नऊ न्यायाधीशांनी एकाच वेळी न्यायाधीशपदाची शपथ घेतली.
• तसेच सरन्यायाधीशएन. व्ही. रमण यांनी त्यांना अधिकार पदाची शपथ दिली.
• सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाच्या सभागृहात नऊ न्यायाधीशांना शपथ देण्यात आली त्यातन्या. अभय श्रीनिवास ओक, न्या. विक्रम नाथ, न्या. जितेंद्र कुमार, न्या. माहेश्वरी, न्या. हिमा कोहली व न्या. बी.व्ही नागरत्ना यांचा समावेश आहे.
• तर या शिवायन्या. सी. टी. रविकुमार, न्या. एम. एम. सुंदरेश, न्या. बेला एम त्रिवेदी , न्या. पी. एस. नरसिंह यांनाही शपथ देण्यात आली.
