Q. Examine the duties and Constitutional position of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India. (300 words, 15 marks)

Approach:

Make an Introduction to CAG by mentioning the relevant section of the constitution.
in the body of the answer, Explain the powers, and functions of the CAG and bring to light the missing tools it should have at its disposal to rectify irregularities.
Conclude the answer with a quote from a personality and suggest steps to make CAG an Effective body.

संविधान के संबंधित खंड का उल्लेख करके CAG का एक परिचय बनाएं।
उत्तर की संरचना में, CAG की शक्तियों और कार्यो को स्पष्ट करें और उन्हें की गयी गलतियों के सुधार के लिए उपुयक्त साधन ना होने पर प्रकाश डालें|
अंत में, CAG से जुड़े किसी उद्धरण से निष्कर्ष लिखे और CAG को एक प्रभावी निकाय बनाने के लिए कदम सुझाएं।
