MP Judicial Service Allowance 2022

The following benefits are available to those who pass the MP Judicial Service Examination 2022 in addition to the basic pay:

    1. Residence: Judges of the Madhya Pradesh High Court are given a residence and are responsible for its maintenance. The state government provides appropriate financial assistance to each judicial officer on an annual basis, based on their rank.
    2. Security: Home guards (without guns) are provided to all Judicial officers at their residence. Also, gunmen are provided for Judicial officers overlooking criminal cases. 
    3. Conveyance: Sedan vehicles are provided to various officers according to their cadre for transportation to various locations.
    4. Personal Assistance: Each judicial officer is assigned one office clerk and one bench clerk. One of these two clerks will also serve as the judicial officer's personal assistant (PA).
    5. Electricity & Water Charges: Civil Judges are permitted to use up to 6000 units of electricity per year, whereas District Judges are permitted to use up to 8000 units per year. 
    6. Medical Allowance: A fixed medical allowance of worth Rs. 3000/- per month is provided to all the Judicial Officers.
    7. House Building Allowance: Advance for the construction of a new house, the acquisition of land, or the refurbishment of an existing house is given to court authorities.
    8. Children Education Allowance: Judicial Officers are eligible for a Children Education Allowance of Rs. 2250 per month and a Hostel Subsidy of Rs. 6750 per month, whichever is lower. This service will be provided for two children upto class XII.
    9. Higher Qualification Allowance: Judicial Officers are eligible for three advancement increases if they obtain a higher qualification, such as a postgraduate law degree, and a fourth advance increment if they obtain a doctorate in law.
    10. Newspaper & Magazine Allowance: Reimbursement for newspapers and magazines is provided for Rs. 1000/- to District Judges and Rs. 700/- for Civil Judges.

  • The MP District Judge receives reimbursement of Rs. 1000/- for two newspapers and two magazines and the MP Civil Judge receives reimbursement of Rs. 700/- for two newspapers and one magazine.

  • The Pay Scale of MP Civil Judge is in the range of RS. 27,700- 770- 33090- 920- 40,450- 1080- 44,770. Apart from the basic salary, the in-hand salary also has many allowances and perks.

  • The monthly salary of Civil Judge Class II is 44,770. Along with the monthly salary there are added perks and benefits associated with the posts.

  • The Madhya Pradesh Judicial Service employees receive medical expenditures worth Rs. 3000/- each month in addition to their monthly salary.

  • After applying you will have to undergo a selection process which is as follows- Preliminary Examination, Mains Examination, and Interview.
