Moving from one website to another is known as browsing. The term browsing refers to switching from one page to another. It is an act of finding out a large amount of data without a defined aim. The World Wide Web client is often referred to in terms of the network itself. Although it differs from a client who is merely using the internet to pass the time, the word can literally signify aimlessness. 

Each webpage on a certain website offers a clear link, typically in the form of a clickable sequence of text, that enables visitors to navigate from one page to another. When the user clicks on a particular link, his browser repeats the process and displays a new page that can be part of the current site or another. A click that changes from one website to another is not a conversion.
