The Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) is a national institute located in Jaipur, India with emphasis on science, engineering, and management. The Institute is fully funded by Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India and it was recognized as an institute of national importance in 2007. As NIT JAIPUR is a college of national importance, admissions to this institute require one to clear highly competitive JEE MAIN with flying colors. College Life & Other exciting facilities at MNIT Jaipur

  • Infrastructure: The campus has the state of the art infrastructure Vivekananda Lecture Theatre Complex which is one of the largest lecture theatre complexes in the whole of Asia. The library is well-equipped with books and students have been given access to the internet library where they can access the digitalized books and various journals and research papers. The college has a computer center with high-speed Internet facility open 24x7. The college has a dispensary on the campus where the students are given free medical aid and also a sports complex where a number of games can be played indoors. It has fully air-conditioned labs and classrooms. The campus is well equipped with high-speed Wi-fi and the facilities of labs, classroom, and sports complex is also too good. 
    Sports facilities are provided to the students in the campus where students can develop their physique. Materials Research Center are established where research works are done by the esteemed professors and the students in support. State of the art Central Library is the home of students during examinations. Computer Center is situated on the campus where students can do surfing and printing.
  • Faculty: The faculty team here is highly qualified with the majority of them having Ph.D. in their respective departments. The student to faculty ratio is around 1 to 30. The course curriculum is extensive to help the students in their further studies.
  • Others: Placements in the college are fairly average with the highest package being of around 29 LPA (in CSE). The average package here is around 6 LPA. Some of the well-known companies that visited the campus are Amazon, Texas Instruments, Deloitte, Infosys, and IBM. Internships opportunities are provided by the placement and training cell of the college too.

Cultural & Tech Festivals

Technical and cultural events are held every year so that students can develop their skills and personality. Every year, MSF (Malaviya Sports Festival) is also organized in the college so that the students who are interested in sports can improve their sports activities. Anyone, having entrepreneurial skills, is also encouraged and sufficient fund is allocated for the same. There is also a CACS (Creative Arts and Cultural Society) in which students get knowledge other than studies to improve their extra curriculum. There is also a robotics team, ZINE, which teaches the students about robotics and the technical aspects of the theoretical knowledge which are given in the classes.

Blitzschlag is the annual techno-cultural fest of MNIT Jaipur. It has a long successful history over the past decade. Blitzschlag boasts to be one of the biggest college fests of Rajasthan, attracting students from all over North India. It gives students opportunity to participate in a wide range of events and competitions be it technical or cultural. These ranges from bringing in the renowned speakers from all across the nation to motivate today’s youth. Blitz is thus synonymous with a wholesome festival encompassing the everyday segment of life, work, passion in a single event. Being a youth festival, Blitzschlag also aims to target youth with social initiatives too.

I haven't registered for the JEE mains yet. Someone told me that if i apply for offline exam now ,  I won't get preferred test center. Is the test center allotted on first come first serve basis ?
