MICAT-I 2023 Analysis: Difficulty Level

The overall difficulty level of MICAT Exam 2023 was difficult & lengthy. However, as per last year’s MICAT Analysis, the difficulty level was Moderate to Difficult. Also, it was found that in most of the questions, the options were closely related, and the candidates faced difficulty in using the elimination method.

Section-Wise MICAT-I Exam Analysis 2023

MICAT-I 2023 Exam consisted of 6 compulsory sections: Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability, Convergent Thinking, Psychometric Testing, Descriptive Test and General Awareness. The section-wise MICAT-I Analysis 2023 is discussed below:

MICAT-I Exam Analysis 2023 for Verbal Ability

The Verbal Ability section was difficult & lengthy. As per MICAT Analysis 2023, a total of 20 questions were asked in this sections, which were further divided as follows:

  • 1 question each on Summary, Para Jumbles, Words Substitution, Odd Summary Para Jumble, CR Inference, Sentence Correction, Jumbles
  • 2 questions each on Para Completion (CAT Type)
  • 3 questions each on Para Jumbles (5 sentences)
  • 4 questions each on Contextual Vocab (4 Blanks) and Reading Comprehension
  • RC was on Geology with 550 words (indirect questions)
  • In VA, 3 questions were with 4 options & 1 with 5 options. Rest all were 8 options
  • 5 options were OSPJ
  • 4 options – 1 was 4 sentence OJ and 2 PC

MICAT-I Analysis 2023 for Quantitative Ability

As per MICAT-I Analysis, the overall difficulty level of this section was lengthy and difficult. All the QA questions (16 Qs) had 8 options. The total number of questions asked was 20, and the given options were close to each other. 3 questions were asked from Trigonometry. The candidates were asked 20 questions in total: Verbal Reasoning (7 Questions), and Non-verbal Reasoning (13 Questions). A total of 150 questions were asked in this section, and the candidates were given 30 minutes to solve these questions. As per MICAT-I Analysis 2023, the questions of this section were related to the following topics:
