While applying to the SPJIMR B-School for MBA, you will be required to select one out of four specializations. The application form asks you to rank the specializations you prefer. The disciplines can be anyone from these: Finance, Information Management, Marketing, and Operations & Supply Chain.
The specialization fields are intended to provide flexibility to the course structure within the broad rubric, allowing for professional development along specific career paths. The preferred specialization of the admission process will be given importance during the admission process.

SP Jain Finalizing the List of Selected Candidates:
The selection list is generated on the basis of the composite score, which includes parameters like applicant’s profile, past academic record, entrance test scores (CAT/GMAT), relevant work experience (if any), and performance in the two rounds of group interviews. SPJIMR does not offer the provision of deferment of an admission offer to subsequent years. Any kind of misrepresentation or suppression of information by an applicant during the admissions process at any stage will lead to immediate cancellation of candidature from SPJIMR.
Admission to the program is strictly based on merit. The weightage of the various parameters (Overall profile, Academic background, Work experience, Entrance scores, Versatility and achievements) considered throughout the admission process is not released by the institute.
SP Jain Online Interview Rounds:
SPJIMR admission interview is a two-phase process. The first phase includes candidates shortlisted on the basis of the profile subject to meeting the minimum score in the qualifying exam. The criteria for second phase candidates is profile cum score based. First phase candidates are called in for an early interview. This is followed by interviews for the phase two candidates post availability of qualifying scores. Detailed information pertaining to the interview process/requirements are shared with the shortlisted applicant's post the shortlist is declared.
In order to ensure the safety of candidates for admissions to its flagship program PGDM 2022 – 2024, SPJIMR may conduct interviews for candidates virtually, instead of on-campus.
