As per the official MICAT 2023 Exam Pattern, there are three exam section. The exam will be conducted online CBT mode. MICAT Exam Pattern 2023

MICA has released the MICAT Exam Pattern 2023 with the declaration of the exam notification. MICAT Paper Pattern witnessed several changes at the time of MICAT 2021. MICA has been shortened the exam time from 2 hours 45 minutes to 2 hours 15 minutes (last year). The candidates must note that MICAT Exam Pattern 2023 is similar to both the session. MICA, Ahmedabad released the latest MICAT 2023 Exam Pattern online. MICAT Paper Pattern 2022 will provide you with detailed information on the exam structure and the number of questions that will most likely be asked. Candidates will learn about the MICAT exam duration and scoring scheme, among other things.

The goal of Mudra Institute of Communications Ahmedabad's MICAT Exam Pattern 2023 is to help applicants develop a strong plan for appearing in and scoring well on the MICAT Entrance Exam. MICAT Marking Scheme 2023

As per the latest updates of MICAT Exam Pattern 2023, the marking scheme for both the session is the same. Candidates are awarded one mark for each successful response, and 0.25 marks are subtracted from their total score for each incorrect attempt from VA, GA, QADI and DCR sections. No marks are awarded or deducted for questions not attempted. Additionally, there is no negative marking for the questions asked from PT and DT sections.

MICAT Exam Pattern 2023: Selection Process

Candidates who pass the MBA Entrance Exam are invited to participate in the MICAT selection Process. They must take part in a group exercise as well as a personal interview. As per the official MICAT Exam Pattern, the section process includes the below mentioned steps.

Step 1: CAT/XAT/GMAT: At least one of the three exams: CAT/XAT/GMAT (CAT/ XAT/ GMAT) must have been taken by each candidate (onwards).

Step 2: MICA Admission Test (MICAT): MICAT, which comprises three portions, is used to evaluate all candidates.

  • Section A: Psychometric Test
  • Section B: (has 4 sub-sections) - Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation, General Awareness; Divergent and Convergent Thinking
  • Section C: Descriptive Test.

Step 3: GE and PI: All candidates who have been shortlisted based on their CAT/XAT/GMAT and MICAT scores are required to participate in both the Group Exercise (GE) and the Personal Interview (PI).

  • As per the official update of MICA, MICAT Exam Pattern is same for the both session. It consists of three section including:

    • Section A: Psychometric Test
    • Section B: Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability, Divergent-Convergent Reasoning and General Awareness
    • Section C: Descriptive Test
  • As per the official MICAT Marking Scheme, for every correct answer in VA, GA, QADI and DCR section, the candidate will get 1 marks. And for every incorrect answer, in VA, GA, QADI and DCR -0.25 marks will be deducted. There is no negative marking for the questions asked from PT and DT sections.

  • MICAT 2023 will be conducted in an online mode only for both the exam session. No other mode is available to take the MICA Admission Test. 

  • Yes, there are MICAT Negative Marking also. As per official MICAT Exam Pattern 2023, 0.25 marks will be deducted from  VA, GA, QADI and DCR. There is no negative marking for the questions asked from PT and DT sections.
