MAH CET MBA Selection Procedure 2021

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, will soon conduct the MBA CET 2021 as per the MAH CET MBA Admission Process. All aspiring candidates must know all about the MAH CET MBA Exam Pattern 2021 and MAH CET MBA Selection Process 2021. MAH MBA CET 2021 Exam Notification and other details will be announced soon. It is conducted to select suitable candidates to fill the seats of prestigious B-Schools across Maharashtra state. Below you will find all important details associated with the MAH CET MBA selection process and exam pattern for your quick, convenient and ready reference. 

The admission process of the MAH MBA CET Exam begins with the release of the application form and then the exam is conducted. After the result is announced, CAP is conducted to summarise the selection procedure. 

MAH CET MBA Selection Process 2021: Stage-wise details

There are two phases of the MAH CET MBA Selection Process 2021. Those candidates who have secured 50% marks (for reserved categories 45% marks) in graduation from a recognized institution can fill the application form.

  • The first phase consists of an online computer-based exam where you need to answer multiple-choice questions in a stipulated time frame. Understand the MAH CET Exam Pattern for the MBA Entrance Exam in detail. 
  • Qualified candidates from the first phase of MAH CET MBA 2021 will be considered for the second phase that is the counselling session.
  • Counselling is carried out through CAP (Centralized Admission Procedure) by Maharashtra DET authorities. This year, counselling is likely to be scheduled in June 2021 after the first phase's declaration of results is done. 

MAH CET MBA CAP Round 2021

A total of three to four rounds of counselling are expected to be conducted after the preliminary written exam. You need to submit the counselling registration fee of INR 1000 when filling the online application form.

DTE Maharashtra will release Cut Off Merit List for Maharashtra & Minority Seats along with All India Seats CAP Round-I. Provisional vacancies will be announced after CAP Round 2 for admission to MBA/MMS. If you are able to clear MAH CET MBA 2021 cut off marks set by participating institutions, you will qualify for the MAH CET MBA Selection Process 2021. 

The cut-off marks are different for OPEN, SC, ST, VJ/DT, NTB, NTC, NTD and OBC candidates. All the candidates are required to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria as are necessary for seat allotment in the respective colleges associated. If you are from some other state than Maharashtra, you must have a valid CMAT/CAT/GMAT/ GMAT//MAT (score from the February 2021 session)/XAT or ATMA score to be eligible to apply for admissions to management colleges of Maharashtra under MAH CET MBA Counselling 2021.
