IIM Calcutta Admission 2022: Eligibility, Cut Off, Selection, Online Form, Score Accepted

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta has released the list of shortlisted candidates for MBA batch 2022-24. Candidates need to enter their email ID and CAT 2021 user ID in order to check the results of shortlisting. The MBA Programme is a two-year full-time post-graduate degree course. The MBA Programme has a two-tier structure: it consists of a core curriculum (compulsory credit courses and compulsory non-credit courses), a summer internship (compulsory industry training between first and second year), and elective courses (optional courses in the second year).

Candidates appearing for the IIM Calcutta Admission Test must meet a particular set of eligibility criteria:

1. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories], from a recognized institution in any subject.
2. Final year candidates can also apply for IIM Calcutta admission. They should be able to provide the required proof latest by June 30, 2022 from the Principal/Registrar of his/her university/College/Institute (issued on or before June 30, 2022).
3. The candidates who have not received his/her graduation results at the time of registration will have to produce certificates and mark sheets in original along with the photocopies as soon as the respective University/Institute publishes the results, latest by December 31, 2022, failing which his/her registration as a student of IIM Calcutta will be automatically cancelled and he/she will be required to withdraw from the MBA Programme forthwith.

Candidates must complete the MBA admission criteria carefully as no change will be permitted once the registration process is complete. IIM Calcutta will apply Government of India reservation policy for admission to Central Educational Institutions (CEIs).

After accepting the final admission offer, candidates must pay an instalment of the acceptance fee, adjusted in the first instalment.

The IIM Calcutta course fee includes access to lectures, lodging facilities, and computing facilities but excludes the cost of textbooks.

Admissions to business schools are based on the following tests:

1. National Level Entrance Test conducted by a top national management school or an apex testing body like CAT, CMAT, MAT, or ATMA.
2. State Level Entrance Test conducted by an entire state B-school or a state-level testing body acceptable in other participating colleges like MAHCET, KMAT, OJEE, TANCET, or APICET.
3. Test conducted by a B-school for entrance to its MBA program like IIFT, XAT, NMAT, SNAP, IBSAT.
4. Test conducted by an institute/university for access to specific MBA programs affiliated to the university like KIITEE, HPU MAT.
