How to Prepare for Quantitative Aptitude Section Of MH-CET (MBA) 2022 Exam?

MH-CET (MBA) is a Computer-Based State-Level Entrance Examination for MBA/MMS programmes for the candidates aspiring to get admission into the top colleges of Maharashtra. The duration of this exam is 150 minutes to solve 200 questions in MCQ format (five options). There are however no negative marking for the incorrect answers. The MH-CET exam is conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra.

Quantitative Aptitude Tips and tricks

  • Time Managemnet and Order of Attempt: - Around 30-40 minutes should be given for this section as this section consists of calculations. Attempting this section at the last will help the candidates to manage their time properly.
  • Categories of Questions: - Candidates should always start with easy questions as they are easy to solve, require less time, and will save time for the tough questions.
  • Time-Consuming Questions: - These questions are a bit time-consuming and tricky. So first solve the easy questions. Here the accuracy depends on the amount of practice that is done before the exam.
  • Last few days for exams, Mocks, and tests: - Solve as many mock tests as possible before the exam day. It will help in improving the time management skills as well as the accuracy.
  • Read questions carefully: - The common mistake that many students make is that they do not read the question completely in order to solve the questions faster. This creates a lot of confusion in candidates' mind as the questions in this section are a bit tricky. So the questions are to be read completely and properly.
  • Speed and Shortcuts: - Many shortcut tricks help in solving the questions quickly with proper accuracy. The speed and shortcut tricks can be improved by practicing 40-50 questions daily.

The key is to continue improving your speed during your preparation, however, one can't improve speed without having solid fundamentals. So be acquainted with the concepts and focus on practicing mock tests.
