Does PSUs allowed the gap of at least 1 year after completion of B.E./B.TECH degree.?

If a candidate who fulfills eligibility as per their notified education qualification is always eligible for that notified post. So you are always eligible there is no gap limit notified in the notification there is only an age limit.

I am in my final year of Instrumentation engineering and planning to appear for GATE 2022 but can u list the PSUs that have separate exams of their own ?

Which PSUs have lowest GATE Cutoff?

BPCL has the lowest GATE cutoff (up to 70 for general) but it is difficult to clear further rounds because every round is eliminating and then State Electricity Board PSUs have low Gate cut off like WBSEDCL etc.

Is GATE score enough for PSU?

List of PSUs for Electrical Engineering through Gate- Public Sector Undertakings(PSUs) are among the leading recruiters for Electrical and Electronics Engineering candidates in India. Part of the recruitment process at PSUs are valid GATE scores as well as COAP counselling. For roles related to electrical engineering, aspirants have to appear for the GATE Electrical and Electronics Engineering paper. The appeal of employment by the Indian government is high among aspirants, and the prospect of working as an electrical professional at Indian PSUs is exciting too.

What forms a part of this appeal are factors that include- security of employment, several benefits that include leaves, incentives, reimbursements, etc., and also a reduced amount of pressure. 1. BSNL Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd.(BSNL) is the Indian government’s state-owned telecommunications company under the Ministry of Communications of India, with its headquarters in New Delhi. Aspirants with a background in Electrical Engineering (or related fields) are eligible to apply for the post of ‘Junior Telecom Officer’ at BSNL.

Degree Requirement: B.E. or B.Tech. in Electrical (or Electronics /Instrumentation/Telecom) Engineering

2. DDA Delhi Development Authority

The Delhi Development Authority(DDA) looks after the development, construction, and planning of Housing projects and provides public facilities such as bridges, roads, community centres, etc. Electrical Engineering candidates can now apply for the role of ‘Assistant Executive Engineer’ at the Delhi Development Authority.

Salary Package: As per the 7th Pay Commission
Valid GATE score(weightage of 85%) with personal interview(15% weightage).
Candidate age: between 21 and 30 years on the last date of advertisement
Degree requirement: Electrical Engineering from a recognised institution
Nationality: Indian Nationals.

3. Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.

The Indian Oil Corporation Limited(IOCL) is India’s government-owned oil and natural gas corporation. As one of the country’s largest petroleum providers, IOCL hires a large team of officers and engineers each year. Applications can be submitted online on IOCL’s website. There are vacancies for electrical engineering candidates for ‘Electrical Engineer’ for the year 2021.

Valid Gate Score, Group Discussion and Personal Interview
Candidate Age: between 18 and 26 years
Degree Requirement: B.E. or B.Tech. In Electrical Engineering
Nationality: Indian

4. HAL Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd.

Established in 1964, Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. is one of Asia’s largest aerospace companies that comes under the supervision of the Indian Ministry of Defence. Electrical Engineering graduates can apply for the post of ‘Management Trainee(Technical)’ at HAL. Based on HAL’s requirement, they will be posted in the Production, Overhaul, or Services division and undergo 52 weeks of initial training.

Valid GATE score(weightage of 85%) with Personal Interview(15% weightage).
Age Limit: 28 years as of 05.04.2021
Educational Qualification: Bachelors or 5-year Integrated degree in Electrical, Electrical & Electronics or Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering from recognised institutes

5. ONGC Oil and Natural Gas Company

The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation(ONGC) is the Indian government’s crude oil and natural gas corporation. It operates under the ownership of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas of India. Candidates from an electrical engineering background can apply for the Assistant Executive Engineer(AEE)(Electrical)’s post at ONGC.

Valid GATE score(60% weightage), Personal Interview(15% weightage) and Qualification(20% for essential qualification and 5% extra for additional higher qualification)
Age Limit: 28 years for Drilling/Cementing
Educational Qualification: Full-time B.E. or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from recognised institutes and Certificate of competency as Electrical Supervisor
Nationality: Indian

6. POSOCO Power System Operation Corporation Ltd.

Power System Operation Corporation Ltd.(POSOCO) is a Public Sector Undertaking(PSU) of India that is looked after by the Ministry of Power of the Indian Government. POSOCO looks after the efficient and responsible integrated operation of the Indian Power System. Engineers from an Electrical or Power Systems background can apply for the post of ‘Executive Trainee’ at POSOCO.

Valid GATE score(weightage of 85%), Personal Interview(12% weightage) and Group Discussion(3% weightage)
Age Limit: 18-28 years as of 31/07/2020
Educational Qualification: B.E. or B.Tech or B.Sc(Engineering) in Electrical/Power Systems or related degrees from recognised institutions
Nationality: Indian

7. PGCIL Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.

The Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(PGCIL) is India’s state-owned electricity company. Aspiring to lead emerging power markets, PGCIL works tirelessly to ensure the smooth transmission of electricity to different parts of the country. Aspirants can apply for the post of ‘Assistant Engineer Trainee(AET)’ with relevant background in Electrical Engineering.

Valid GATE score(weightage of 85%), Personal Interview(12% weightage) and Group Discussion(3% weightage)
Age Limit: 28 years as of 31/12/2020 and born after 01/01/1992.
Educational Qualification: B.E. or B.Tech or B.Sc(Engineering) in Electrical/Power Systems or related degrees from recognised institutions

8. VIZAG Steel Plant

Vizag Steel or the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant is an integrated steel manufacturer built using Soviet and German technology. Candidates with electrical engineering background can apply for the ‘Management Trainee’ post in Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited. Management Trainees at the Vizag Steel Plant will undergo 1 year of training, after which they will undergo one-year probation.

9. Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd.(BHEL)

Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. is one of India’s largest power generation equipment companies owned by the government of India. The vast infrastructure of BHEL consists of 17 manufacturing units, 15 regional centres, 8 overseas offices, among others. Electrical engineering candidates can now apply for the post of ‘Engineer Trainee’ at BHEL.

Valid GATE score(75 % weightage) with personal interview(25% weightage).
Candidate age limit: 27 years and born after 1st September 1992; 29 years for candidates with 2-year full-time PG in Engineering
Degree requirement: Bachelor or Integrated 5-year Master in Electrical Engineering from a recognised institution
Nationality: Indian Nationals.
